  1. Single league or elite/everyone would work for me, but I know a lot of people like the rookie/novice idea. I went from enthusiast to extreme when I bought a SS, I still went up in points which is what mattered, so I've never really got the whole needing multi league thing other than ego stroking
  2. Only works with a limited subset of hw/os/benches etc so useful but not a complete solution it feels like. To those who really like the leagues, can I ask why? Like having the #3 in enthusiast on your profile?
  3. Elite vs everyone else means two leagues, elite, and everyone else. Instead of elite vs extreme vs apprentice etc. At least that's what I assume.
  4. Definitely most of the 'about' hwbot needs updating, from benchmark rules to who the 'staff' are etc. Now seems like the time to implement/change the way the leagues work since there's already going to be some confusion, just get it all done with at once ? (single league or rookie/general/elite ftw)
  5. Well yeah that applies to all benches really, but I was also meaning that I think people like the bench. Certainly true for myself, compared to others that also offer globals etc, I prefer gb Also of course, remember there's nothing forcing you guys to bench it if you don't like it
  6. Or it keeps hwpoints as it's quite a popular bench, or it stays but isn't allowed to be run on win8/10, or maybe other options, no need to be so dramatic.
  7. I'll have a look and let you know. Something went wrong with it, removed it now so you can try resubmitting. I never use xtu details always manual/from a previous score so you can do that to be safe.
  8. Yeah just sub normally, should work fine give me a ping if you're still having issues.
  9. Raise a but in the benchmate thread I guess, but also just sub normally? Don't need bm.
  10. My statement still applies. Changing freq like that isn't allowed, and that is a benefit of bm for clock limited comps. Just don't cheat
  11. Obviously not, one of the positives of using bm for comps is it can track MHz during a run to try and avoid this issue.
  12. Traditionally thought of as a bench where mem doesn't really make any difference. XP is still good for newer hw I think.
  13. Aim would be to choose benchmarks where the platform would have little to no effect hopefully allowing a range of platforms to be used
  14. You can choose the cooling if you want to only check enthusiast scores. Just select the cooling at the top of the table as shown above. If you're wanting seperate points pools then I'd anybody thinks people cheating with their cooling is bad now it would become 100 times worse in my opinion.
  15. ? Why would an enthusiast score be in the top 20 for a singlethreaded 2D benchmark, that doesn't make any sense.
