When testing cold, I'm generally able to pass the physics tests one multiplier higher when running alone vs. running with the 3D tests. I don't believe that would carry over very much to ambient, though.

What types of dewars does this fit? Is it made by Taylor Wharton or someone else? If it's TW, do you have the glass/plastic tubes? Was it made for use with a 25LD, 35LD, etc.? As with all things cryo related, they're generally much less expensive than retail. For example, I think Taylor Warton sells their WD device for $800 or something but it sells on the second hand market much closer to $150, sometimes less. The relief valve getting stuck is a very common issue on these. It can usually be replaced and will fix the issue.

Gotcha. I didn't realize that the PSU screwed into the legs. It looks like this will be good for competitions and traveling but not quite a 24/7 bench setup if you like to keep things organized. The motherboard compatibility shouldn't be an issue though, since mITX and mATX use the same mounting as ATX.

Wulfe, where did you get your information? Looking at the photos, it looks like the table doesn't "support anything". It is literally a motherboard tray that "folds" up to be the size of a small plate. Looking at the images, it seems to be aluminum, but not sure. mITX and mATX use the same mounting holes as ATX, just fewer of them. This looks like it's meant to replace a Dimastech Hard bench. This isn't really geared towards replacing a 24/7 rig/bench (although I'm sure some people will do that.

Are you sure that the EVGA boards have to be modded for Xeons? None of my Giga or Asus boards needed to be.

In the US, the 980Xs sell on ebay for anywhere from $175-225. 990Xs can be as high as $300. When I buy 980s, I usually try to get them closer to $150 or so.

EDIT: Real volts were what was shown. Looks like I forgot. When Extreme mode is enabled on CPU-Z, it usually shows 1.35V or something. I thought that was what was happening.

1.75V. I'm having the same issue with this chip that I had with my 6600K. Splave has tested that one for over 6.4GHz in HWBot Prime... For the life of me I can't get these chips even remotely stable over 6GHz. The highest I could pass HWBP on this one was 5.7GHz but it was fully capable of running 5G HWBP at 1.35V on water, before delid. Adding voltage doesn't seem to help, either. I may be snagging an OCF today to see if it's the board (or me being unable to clock well on the board).

That seems to be true in most large cases here in the US but we also have small claims court where you file for ~$100, represent yourself most often, and usually win if you are truly "correct" which, in this case, Dimas is not. Shame the EU doesn't have something like that...

Is there anything similar to small claims court for Europe? In the US, that would be perfect for this situation.
