Maybe a simple thought, make a thread at the benchmark section and share what ya need to share. Pretty simple right? I see a lot of people commenting but talking as politicians, so in fact saying nothing at all. Just repeating and echoing the same over and over again.... Anyway If we want people to share a tweak with the moderation team in the future and they don't want to share it with the rest to keep their edge, we wont give it away. If they themselves want to make it public, go for it! Standard policy: Moderators will NOT share tweaks. Point final Dia hard legacy is slot 1/A, socket A, AGP cards... no problem with 3D benchmarks, just with that old hardware where a lot of transplants, modifications happen. That's Antinomy's turf....

Tweaks are only shared, as mentioned on Discord, if the one that discovered it does so himself. A tweak will be explained to the mod but he has no obligation to share. Its like a doctor that doesn't start to blabber about the medical state of his patients. There won't be any explenation from our side about existing tweaks or whatsoever. How did Roman list it? You discover something, you inform the moderator and we will give green light or not. It can't be any easier than that too understand. Anyways an even playing field will never happen, that's pure Utopia. For your info Christian Ney has mentioned a lot of tweaks already in the old rules, question is do you know how to correctly apply them? Most legit tweaks are about proper tweaking, no new software crap into old OSses. Ticking affinity, setting realtime, testing resolution, minimizing, changing font size or theme, OCing the Monitor Hz, initial caching runs on one CPU core, using diagnostic mode and there are so many many more... Try beating some of the greeks Top OCers 2D scores from 2007-2009. It will be a high learning curve, some will make it, some will not even come close. Die hard legacy hardware is about Bios modding and is another level and not for the fainted hearted. I prefer to stay away from socket A and sortlikes ? What use is it to mention you are allowed to perform a Wazza for SuperPi, do I also need to mention the benchmarks where that same memory tweak also works? Some users can't manage a proper Wazaa via OCX SPi tweaker. Some haven't even heard about a Large System cache or moving the page file to another partition.... The sharing is the workload of your Team, hold internal competitions like Low clock challenges and you will see that there's a lot of things that you can do to boost your score. Remember that highly efficient score are usually the result of years of experience and hours of (pre)testing.

These subs tell me one wants easy points without effort... nothing more... -
One of the ideas was that a member should be at least a few months member of the team before the compo started. But like you said hard to verify or configure... Maybe best way to approach is indivual participation to a competition and exclude Team or Country Cups

As I mentioned on discord I'm already pretty pleased if we can manage in Q1 to get the normal ranking done and fix a lot of buggs in calculation. The coder is trying to figure out how everything is linked per benchmark, per user, per team. Not as easy as some think. We are discovering corpses in the closet once in a while. Deadlocks that date a few years back, stuff that never got fixed and we have no clue what it exactly triggers. So we need to find out on the UAT what it does and test everything step by step. Over and over again... This is also the reason why in January there will be no competition whatsoever, just to give us more time to debug things... I'll open a thread so you can chime in to give some ideas/pointers what we need to take into account.

Don't think its a bug, its the way Frederik configured it last Time Alex Career Ranking: 3,889.1 from 2007 - 2021 Top 30 global points 1,409.8 Top 60 hardware points 2,479.3 There are no Competition Points for Career ranking as I look at it... he pushed the active ranking , me and Websmile were not agreeing on the decision, but who are we...
