  1. Why does the "background" matter? An accidental/uninentional score sharing is still score sharing. I seem to be not alone who finds it funny how in some situations hwbot staff bother with seeking for/considering penalty softening arguments like with John Lam (oh, he had a close score himself, oh, he is close to hwbot sponsors, oh, he is actually an experienced bencher) while in others, like with 12 and Diabolo, one (accidentally?) shared pair of screenshots was enough to instantly issue 1 year ban for BOTH guys without long discussion/hesitation.
  2. I had the same, 1.6 set was around 1.35 actual
  3. anyone cares to explain the difference between these three? also, why is John Lam given 1 month penalty, which is not even on the list of "available" penalty types?
  4. lol, if you have the 2400C8 version of RipjawsZ every board will give you an excellent result
  5. Try higher SA voltage, it usually makes higher Vdimm values stable if you're looking to get 1300 8-11-x stable. As for 2000C9 Tridents - they vary a lot both in terms of IC (can be PSC, BBSE or Hypers) and in terms of IC quality. 1190 8-10-7 isn't particularly a good result for BBSE version, decent samples should do 1250 8-10-7 given enough voltage.
  6. isn't every single package in the US remotely trackable?
  7. everyone is soo optimistic hoping their s2011 chip will do 5.6-5.8 :D
  8. if those are 2400C11s - good luck hitting spec
  9. You not, but there are always enthusiasts on the side who you can assign all the "dirty" work to
  10. They can just make the competition last 2 hrs, but announce it 3 months in advance.
  11. I don't like this idea.On most (if not all) outer forums you have to have special privileges to be able to see the ad in full (not everyone has their own site) so most of the time the negotiations will be made just via PM on hwbot forums. If that is to happen anyway, why not allow people post their ads here so there's at least some track of "who promised what to who" in case of possible issues?
  12. so you imply that hwbot would become a much better place if people didn't have the full freedom of uploading their results whenever they want to?
  13. We have so many guys whining about even slightest "irregularities" in others' scores that I don't think we'll have problems tracing some dodgy deals
  14. why can't we actually make an OC marketplace here at hwbot? .. every other forum has one
  15. (talking about Z77 M5E) We had the same only going below certain temperature (-80 or so), above that all was well. Fiddling with PCIe Gen settings got us issue-free .. but only for one run, after that not even elmor could figure it out.
