Good to know it doesn't need to be valid, heard tons of complaints from other benchers saying it's hard to get a valid out of Ryzen on coldwith Windows 7, regardless of HPET on or off (haven't tried myself yet).
How will/would 1 core per CU be distinguished from subs that have a number of modules disabled such that the total core count is the same? Say what you will about the shortsighted decision to allow two different core counts to earn globals on Alder Lake, at least CPU-Z clearly shows the difference.
