  1. Well points only counted in World (now Career) ranking for one of the comps however OC-Esports ranking counted all of them (now called Seasonal). Would be nice to have them count consistently across both rankings.
  2. Great idea to split up 2D and 3D like that, was always a big ask to get both done well and in time. Will the same 1 division per user restriction apply as in previous years?
  3. I'm guessing the GPUs will be all-out like last year? Much harder to set a fair MHz limit on those.
  4. Nope, has been like that since Fred changed the max. HWPts in Rev. 7 - i.e. from everything capped at 50 to weighted where e.g. GPUpi and 3DM03 go up to 67.
  5. This sounds great Leeg! Reminds me of a great comp run some years ago
  6. Because cold IMC helps for some benchmarks.
  7. It's not unique to Intel either. On Ryzen on certain boards and multi combos CPU-Z will suddenly show 80 BCLK and wrong mult but right frequency. Very annoying when you are on LN2 and need a valid screenshot.
  8. More likely to be an IMC rather than a stick limitation. @Luumi, do you remember?
  9. Wow, I don't remember the OCF going up that high on Vdimm! Maybe that's 2.3V + LLC? I need to get out this board again and play with it.
  10. I am seeing the same on the Rampage III Extreme with locked CPUs.
  11. Just getting started on a bit of PSC fun on Bloomfield - not sure if the IMC is different compared to Gulftown? Threw in a random kit, I might have to switch to my best one as I was getting NOT EXACT@ 6-11-6 over about 1050 or with 6-10-6 above 1,000: Any minor voltages that could help? I couldn't find DDR termination for example.
  12. But you are comparing LN2 RAM vs. ambient here? On LN2, both Luumi and Cookie's have 32M runs at those settings or above.
  13. Since x299 supports two completely different architectures (Kaby-X and Sky-X) that have things like FIVR vs. no FIVR, extra PCI-E lanes etc. it's up to the motherboard vendor to support one or both of these. ASUS chose to make a set of BIOSes that support XP but they are Kaby-X only. Not sure how it works on the OCF?
  14. It has become more and more apparent that people actually don't know how competition points worked in Rev. 7. IMO it's hard to express an opinion on something if you didn't even bother to figure out how it worked in the first place but whatever, the world is your oyster, c'est la vie and all that. In Rev. 7, comp points were added and removed from your world ranking on a 12-month, rolling basis. Therefore if you kept your comps activity up they provided a permanent boost to your ranking and if you stopped participating those points would go away. Having people propose this exact same system for Rev. 8 like it's the greatest new idea is hilarious to watch ?
  15. Mystery solved, at the native resolution of my browser / laptop the third I disappears: When I click on the image to view it fullscreen, the third I is visible. Weird!
