At a glance there are at least 3 stages which are carbon copies of last year's - wouldn't it be a basic check to avoid duplicates? It's not like we don't have enough hardware platforms and benches to choose from...

Those are the exact wrong benches to add! CB20 is just CB15 with a different (read boring) rendered scene, Port Royal is only supported by the more expensive half of half of the new GPU marked - how much more exclusive can it get? At least XTU runs on everything Intel back to Sandy. If you want to add new benches which don't repeat past mistakes, look at Superposition, Y-Cruncher, GPUpi 4.0 (when it becomes available).
