Hi Mad222 , Please forgive me for questioning your great result ... From the picture , i can understand that this raid controller is an LSI 9211-8i . I can't get it how one old raid controller from 2009 can score better than one highend 1880X which has 4GB+ of cache . I'm confused ... Even the raid menu is the same with the 9211-8i . Also the specs that HCEPC wrote match exactly. It's a value controller priced around $250 . Hey , It's not an issue at all. Try to start gpu-z with compatibility mode . You can even select win98 ..

I have for testing one revodrive 3 x2 also . The 480GB version. General usage maxes around 150MB ... and virus scan at 200Mb . I'd love to hear from Sweet how he manages to get 900mb general ...

Compete in every rank at 2d & 3d . As much as there is money to spend , we can compete . Retails are not available here , so i'm just collecting information from what i have seen till now . I agree that's too early . That's why i gave the 2 months time line . It's just that after seeing those few E1 clocking bad , we're just starting to lose our hope

I know you understood my comment ... If after 1-2 months the facts show that E0 stepping clocks far higher thatn E1 , how will people who don't have access to ES compete ? That's my only concern . We can't get ES CPU's ... and we won't buy ES CPUs . Till now we have seen good and bad clocks from E0 cpus , but only bad clocks from E1 . I hope everything works out . Slamms ... I didn't notice that it was with P67/Z68 board .

E1 stepping ... Right ? The way i see it till now ... we're back to gulftown A0 era . I haven't seen any good E1 scores (6.6+) If hwbot is to make a decision , please do it fast so we won't buy retail CPU's

I vote no for this . Scores are ridiculous high ... George O/C gave a link with some 9600gt testing i done . It also works with older cards , like X850XT ...

It's about themes as bob gave us the hint. All i did was to start pcmark05 and do the following : 1st) At first you have the win7 aero theme. 2nd ) Change theme to high contrast black 3rd ) Change again to win7 aero theme (or "characters" theme as it works better for me) . 4th) Test the transparent subtest If you don't get it with the first , try it again. I managed to get it working on 3 difference PC's .

This is my 24/7 card .It's a reference one. Hopefully next week i will prepare my other 2 580gtx lightning cards .

Sooner or later , more something else will come up for sure in terms of tweaking ... How about making a wrapper like unigine and AM3 for pcmark05 or pcm7 ???

From some quick tests i made , i found out that you still need Acards & Controller / fast SSD's in order to maximize general usage & virusscan .
