Yes, I know. Tried all 64 threads, as well some combinations, but can't get such a boost. Even tried the same combinations used in the top-5 submissions for K7. First I thought it might be the ucbench version, but there's one submission with the latest one, too.

I don't get how some results have such a huge boost in one of the calculations. Tried all combinations from the leading K7 scores with my XP-M 2500+ and none of them gave me such a big difference. Also tried some different ones. Is it sure this behavior is not due to highly unstable cpu or it's just a lucky run?

If you search the database, you can see validations made with Sempron, as high as 1000MHz :woot:

Yeah. From other stages I can only participate in AGP, then I'll have to watch until the end of the comp. The tight schedule is kinda cool, but on the other hand it'll keep busy only the guys who have all kind of hardware.

I can always boot from bios. Performance-wise it's just a tad faster and you get a slight hit in max stable mem freq - around 5MHz or maybe even less. IIRC, my Mushkin Level II does 275 CL1.5 vs 280 CL2.

Wish my SD that did 3.3GHz on water was still alive. Don't know why you can't run CL1.5, I can do it with all BH5/BH-6/UTT I have.

Yep, I still don't understand how this is called "tweak". You directly mess with the way benchmark is meant to run, in other words - change the calculation. How on earth an (almost) empty file is comparable to the original .rtf which those who don't "tweak" use... Guys who defend these "tweaks", please have some dignity and look farther than your nose. There are a lot ot capable guys, who can figure out those "tweaks", but they just don't see the point.

That is fine, but there's no guarantee it will be a good LN2 chip. I had 1.32+V chip that did exactly the same as 1.26V (6.9GHz) and two others stopped at 6.6GHz. There are other similar examples in this thread.

Are you sure vCore is that high, have you measured it with DMM?

You're almost safe, mate. I don't have time for LN2, too. And I don't even have SS, so will stick with water. Don't think I can pass the 50K mark with what I have. Plus all my good cards are insulated .

I had two of these, but damaged the memory on the modded one in a LN2 bench session. It was running 1400MHz DDR3, but I accidentally shorted something and gave the memory 4V . This one is unmodded yet. So you say if I only could replace a 3DMark03 scene runtime with another scene which includes a plain perfectly flat land and sky, it would be legit? And get 1000% boost? Or maybe omit the sky too, why not...

Does anyone know how to make it detect the real cpu frequency? Maximus 5 Formula + 3770K. PS: I think showing the detected cpu clock in the screenshot should be mandatory. We all know this is the culprit for the benchmark. I try to make it detect the real frequency, not the stock multi x bclk, but this is the place which is the biggest loophole of '99 and '00.

Load optimized defaults, set sata mode to ide and try again. I had this problem on newer M5G bioses and now on M5F. Still under investigation what exactly causes this error, but I'm able to install stripped SP2 this way. I have the ssd plugged in one of the red sata ports. You may also tweak the settings under Monitor tab and disable "Monitor Standby", they don't have effect on the error. Btw, I had this problem installing Windows 7 as well. The forementioned method worked.

Not impressed, I can do better... joking 32M master, that's it.
