At least it's DIP and not BGA so it can be fixed. ? -
I'm wanting to revisit some FM1 OC'ing but my mobo sucks and my 3870K is dead. looking for an Asus F1A75-V Pro or Gigabyte GA-A75-UD4H paired with at least one CPU. Thanks.

No, you only have to short the two pads indicated for it to work but I would recommend doing both. Insulating the two pads indicated isn't an absolute requirement but if you don't it will burn the corresponding pins out of the socket. The pins are not actually used for anything so if you do burn them out it doesn't hurt the functionality of the board at all.

The ones on mine are Winbond W25Q128FV. Yours may be different though, could be an SST or other manufacturer. -

Yes, that is what I meant, 20-Pin ATX connector. Shorting PS_ON powers it on but it doesn't post just a constant tone from the buzzer. -

I'm sad that I can't play in this. Got my Abit VP6 the other day but it's a brick. :( Power switch does nothing, but from what I can see by shorting P OK on the 20 pin to GND all the power circuitry is good. Anyone have some suggestions on what to check first? -
Unfortunately I can't provide that due to GPUPI crashing before the validation file is created.

I keep getting crashes when trying to validate to file with my GTX 260 for some reason. The bench runs fine every time with HWinfo turned off but I cannot get it to validate at all. Running GPUPI 3.2 Legacy on Win 7 SP1 x64 with GeForce 342.01 drivers. It works perfectly fine with a newer gpu installed. Model of card is the GFB GTX 260 MaxCore 55. Everything is running at stock frequencies. This is what the windows crash log says; Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: GPUPI.exe Application Version: 3.2.0.0 Application Timestamp: 5a836460 Fault Module Name: StackHash_0a9e Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00000000 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

The fix is to not use Win 7 if possible. You won't have any problems with V-sync on Win XP, though only if the gpu has old enough drivers to actually work. What are you trying to run on it anyway?

So it's for sure okay to use a dual socket board with only one CPU? I found an Abit VP6 for a good price and a have few 650-700MHz capable Mendocino chips laying around so I hope I can play once it get's here. -
Have you tried a different cpu to see what HTT it could do with that? What other board did you use this chip in?

Just asking to see if anyone has a copy of this bios, I couldn't find a working download anywhere. I have a PII X3 720 and it would be nice if I could make it into an X4. Thanks. Edit: The bios version should be R7SD224A.

My P4C800-E recently gave up on me so I was wondering if anyone has one of these to spare. Would save me some money to find one of these instead of getting another board. Thanks.
