    I'm finding sata cards disproportionately expensive Cheapest 4-port PCI card I can find on Ebay UK is £12 Any age, any platform. Sata ports and price is the most important thing Thanks! I have my old DFI SLI-DR here, that has 8 and it's a good starting point. Hoping to find a couple of boards with a more consistent low price At the mo, i'm even vaguely looking at SAS cards and 1-to-4-way cables.

    Been kicking around an idea in my head Are there any old (CHEAP is important) mobos that have 8+ SATA ports? Doesn't matter if they're spread across multiple controllers or only SATA 1.5Gb/S, being able to hook up a load of drives is the most important thing Thanks! K

    As always, if I have a problem, I discuss it BEFORE I submit results. Here are two videos that explain the problem. GPUs are nVidia (for a change LOL) GT120 and GTS150 The GT120 thinks it's a 9500GT and the GTS150 thinks its a GTS250 (some existing GTS150 submissions already mention this) Enjoy the music, the fan noise made the original audio painful to listen to. LOL

    How do we explain this to non-overclockers/ non-benchmarkers? There is: Pro League Xtreme League Enthusiast League Country Cup On-site Vendor competitions SEVEN DIVISIONS of Challenger Cup "I won Stage 3 of Challenger Cup Division 4 and I am doing quite well in the Extreme League" (example statement) It sounds to me like there is too much going on. As long as Challenger Cup points DO NOT contribute to Enthusiast League or Extreme League ranking, it might be ok. Country cup + vendor competition + Challenger cup + normal league benching does NOT make this hobby more accessible to people, no matter what the hardware requirements are.

    I know, it looks wrong but it won't dent your score by much and hey.... it's better than not getting a score at all Great catch on the nVI setting though Wait a sec.... have you tried a different PSU? "Random shutdown" with high CPU + RAM clocks. What are your PSU rails doing?
