  1. Wow, no Gigabyte or Asrock on the Russian market?! How come?
  2. Almost forgot to cross-post this one as well. As you know, the CPU microcode is used to fix some hardware related problems. Intel has it, and so does AMD. Usually you will not notice any of the errata (=problems) in daily computing, but sometimes it happens. I'm sure you all remember the famous Phenom TLB-bug. Usually, it is very important to have the latest CPU microcode as that one would contain all the latest fixes. Sometimes you would actually want to use older microcode to have better performance. For example, in the Core 2 era we were all using an old microcode to get those really fast SuperPI 1M benchmark results. The Stilt compiled a list of the AGESA code versions of most of the 970/990 AMD motherboards for our reference. If you're using the Bulldozer patch, you might want to know what AGESA version you're using! It's possible that since this list, there has been BIOS releases with the latest AGESA code. If you find any, please drop a message in the forum. 3. Welcome, Uniqpcs!
  4. Good review! The Hero is priced roughly the same like the OC board, I see. I'm starting to think that if you want a full ATX board tuned for overclocking, the GBT OC board is insane in terms of price and features. The Hero is 'competitive', but doesn't really get all the nice stuff the Exterme has. I guess if you don't really care about multi-GPU benching, you might as well go for the Z87M OCF or the Gene.
  5. Lol, you couldn't look more sponsored with your pink shirt and red hat :D
  6. Cool! Bioses available for download somewhere?

  8. Sexy rig pic?
  9. You could try with RW-Everything, but unless you will be digging into whitepaper datasheets and maybe even open up your notebook, I don't think it'll be very easy.
  10. Can't find the tool?
  11. Fixed the thread-competition link. Good luck all!
  12. SuperPI is a single threaded benchmark, so hyperthreading will not have any effect.
  13. 1) Hardware library problem added to backlog. Not sure why this happens. http://bugs.hwbot.org/browse/HWBOT-1202 2) Can you link me to one of those submissions? I might have an idea what's causing it.
  14. That's by design. We had some major downtime last week because of "any benchmark" search queries. After we switched to having a mandatory benchmark selected, there was no more downtime. Any benchmark search queries are just too heavy for the database.
  15. I see, good catch. I'll bring this up in tomorrow's meeting ... not sure why that happens.
  16. Must've been a temporary issue - globals are there now! Nice run, Ian!
  17. Hm, Can you go to "http://hwbot.org/profile/ > Recalculate points and achievements" and recalculate your points. This might fix the issue.
  18. Found out why. Fixed it for 1150 but not for all the other categories. http://bugs.hwbot.org/browse/HWBOT-1201
  19. Found issue, will make newspost about it.
  20. Lol, just realised you have a global record. Nice one, Luc!

  22. The only reason you would go for the "force" board is if you're running 4 cards in CF/SLI. For anything else, the OC board is going to be better. It's the board that is being tuned the most.
  23. Wait what? Drugs with CPUs?
