I assume you want to know how much points you can generate from buying a specific item rather than the exact amount of submissions? The amount of submissions also includes, for instance, 3D results with a specific CPU.

I'd do it, but it's not so simple to extract that information from the database. What you say is correct though, there are a couple of "backdoor" options to get points fast and easy. Most of those routes are function of the balance we seek between giving people incentive to submit a result and awarding points on a fair basis. The exact position of the balance is subjective, so hard to make it perfect to everyone. I think the balance in the current revision is a little more to the "give incentive" than the "fair and exact rating" aspect.

Hey all, As you know, we're currently working on a 2012 update of the rulebook. One of the topics we're also tryign to streamline is how to contact a member in case there's something wrong with a score, a user or a team. I'm wondering if you have any suggestions or ideas about this topic? For instance: - do you prefer contact by email or PM? - do you always want to have your Team Captain included in the email conversation? - do Team Captains want an on-site overview of all the blocked scores or communication (eg: a new tab 'communication' under team profile) - when/how would you like to be contacted? And so on. Feedback welcome
