  1. I think we need to put a group buy together for North America guys since there seems to be a lot of interest for these. I would be interested in purchasing 4 of 5 kits myself and 1 or 2 copper kits if available, and not crazy expensive.
  2. Defiantly not just you, it seems like this board is so good at making whatever timing changes work that probably shouldn't and I think eventually mei becomes corrupt because of this. Not sure I said this quite right but hope you get the point
  3. Yeah buddy, looking good. MOCF well worth the wait, it just works and $200 price is fantastic
  4. I just want to get confirmation on one thing, since this challenge officially started around April 16th 2016, it would therefor be against the rules to re use a submission from say 2015 then, right?
  5. Nope, just make sure to use microcode 2d or 74
  6. I agree with above statement! Having a little fun with emMa, OS is junk so please ignore my lack of efficiency 1.87bios / 1.94FD sys info / 1.92real 140mm AIO / Air
  7. It's gotta feel good to get XTU off the mind. Im still waiting for my 6320 and don't mind
  8. Never said it was, overall Im sure your chip is better than mine but keep in mind that without proven results of near 1/1 core/uncore and a strong imc the cpu will not be desirable to many guys here. It's the same with memory, sure it's great a PSC PI kit can do 2666c6 at 1.95v cold but if it can't keep scaling with voltage I would place greater value on a kit that needs 2.2v for the same 2666c6 if it also does 2800c6 at 2.35v. You certainly have a Top cpu there, I'm just saying if you you want top dollar it's a tough sell here unless you can prove it's not a one trick pony. If your cpu can run something like Geekbench3 at 5000/5000 with psc 2700+ c8 or Samsung D 2933+ c9 with both cache and core volts under 1.3v it is far more desirable. If you had cold results showing -135C CB and running something like 6300/6000 with mems at 2900c6 people would be throwing money at you. Still you have a top 5% chip, Good Luck with Sale
  9. Wow, it really does exist ! I really do hate seeing "00" so much, start the board... 00 19 00 19 and so on. Scary stuff
  10. Here it doesn't hold a ton of value, I just sold my best 4790k with a killer uncore and 3000+ imc for $325.00 just this week. Results done with H110 next to open window, water temp min was 16C 5000/5000 at 1.265v Core and 1.27v Cache w VCCIN 1.55v
  11. It looks like you never extracted the folder/files from the download
  12. Mine looks different, no problems installing either
  13. Trying to get a membership to the 4g club
  14. You got it! Thermal paste between die and ihs IS the issue. To much time talking about this, could have delidded several hundred cpu's by now. There is no risk if you buy a delid tool, prices as low as $20 for a 3d printed basic unit (recommend only using 2 or 3 times), up to almost $100 for one that will last forever and look good sitting next to other high end OC hardware. TLDR: DELID NOW, TALK LATER
  15. ALL SOLD PLEASE CLOSE/MOVE Thanks for the space hwbot
  16. FINAL BUMP Patriots high bin PSC XEA/B, QUAD KIT (all 4) Secto5 2400c9 $75.00 USD
  17. I think M OCF deserves a thread of it's own, being mixed in with it's big bro will make it hard to find anything in an already busy thread
  18. Like Splave said delid is number 1, what voltages are you running at 4.8? " " " " " at 4.9? what is cache/uncore at? are you positive h100i is seated (mounted) properly? if so what thermal paste? You are definitely crashing because hot cpu's need more volts to be stable and that in turn creates more heat. For example on ln2 at 1.5v you may be able to run 5.8, on water chiller 5.2 and aio cooler only 4.8. Now if you are delidded and running something like liquid metal between die and ihs you probably just have a bad mount. If you are not delidded then I recommend staying away from benching and overclocking until you are
  19. You need to consider a lot of other variables, sure psc mems are the fastest on the main memory benchmark but only come in 2gb modules and can be very difficult to run quad unless you really know what you are doing and are comfortable changing secondary and tertiary timings. On air Samsung based are better, they are also 4gb modules and a bit easier to run quad. Unless you are willing to pay a ton of money for 4-8gb ram and hire a guy to constantly pour ln2 into your mem pot your only logical answer is 2666c10 4x4gb, and Dom P's are the best, end of story. The bins you've been listing are basically extinct and if you can find a guy who has some nd they are in good condition with proven results, plan on spending well over $50 a gb, and if you want my rare top bin with results psc closer to $100/gb
  20. There is no direct answer, but in terms of overall performance, the best kit money can buy is probably Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x4gb 2666c10, if you can get your hands on G.Skill RipjawZ 2400c8 4x2gb or Trident 2500c9 2x2gb this will be the best PSC you can buy. Not really sure what you are getting at here, but if you have the ability to buy some of these, let me know because I've been looking for over a year (Corsair not included) Also you can't compare them the way you are. I've been seriously binning and testing PSC and Sammy based ddr3 for the last 7 months, and when it comes to psc some of my very best air and ln2 results come from bins that are NOT on your list
  21. Samsung based mems, hyko,hch9. 2400c9, 2600c10 and 2666c10 2x4gb or 4x4gb kits
  22. You're not lying about this, especially if you have Ripjaws V
  23. It's here, get those crazy mem tweaking abilities ready !
