  1. I will test it, I am out of LN2 and Cascade is defective. If it doesn't work I will test my other good dimm.
  2. Yes but it is better then it was before. CBB is not helping either (-125C).
  3. Wellicht dat ik mijn geheugen kit de volgende keer met dimm3 test ipv dimm2. Ik denk dat ik dan iets minder voltage nodig heb.
  4. Absolutely, altough I still had a crack after a while. But I could finally run higher clocks. Thanks for the input. And I foud out that the g.skills are even better then I thought. Maarten
  5. Sold My other kit does 4266 c12-11-11 tight (3 dimms actually).
  6. Up for sale my Galax HOF #37 DDR4 (B die) kit. I used them only once. I didn't really push them either since I wanted to test my own kit on my new M OCF first. Since my own kit surprised me a lot the Galax kit can go. Asking price is €240 (shipment excluded). Bank payment is preferred. It is the kit from this thread: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=163957
  7. Quick one on ln2 (cpu): Edit: Better picture Sadly I had to stop after this because of a crack.
  8. I used Aceton before mounting it and used a big blob. I tried to heath it up a little before I ran it and after that I did what Leeghoofd said. I could run 6GHz CB11.5 at -170C without any issue now. Seems to be better now.
  9. I cleaned it with Aceton, used a big blob that covers the die and set it ready for a new run. After that I will try more if needed.
  10. Thanks for the advice. I wasn't planning to combine things. That way I can't name the cause of issues. About lapping, I lapped my first heathsink/cpu more then 10 years ago. I never made any mistakes with it.
  11. Do tou mean the black peaces on the pcb? You bench without any of it? I will wait with lapping it for now. I do have everything I need to lap it.
  12. Thanks for all the tips. I will try them soon. Edit: I have a bottle of Aceton "replacement" which is 2-Butoxyethanol. Is that enough?
  13. I tried a big blob before but I never heated it up before the run. Yesterday I tried a small layer of grease but that obviosly didn't work. I cooled it down to -80 and then heated it up to -40, after that I went down.
  14. Ok, here it is. I was looking for the best sub forum for this. I was wondering what the best way is to apply thermal grease to make sure a crack doesn't happen. I had it twice this weekend with 2 different methods. At -100C or beyond I saw positive temps. Before I say how I do it I am wondering who has a method that works most of the time (besides the new Kingpin thermal paste).
  15. I have had enough bad luck with hardware lately. Let's not challenge it. Edit: Now I think of it, I did have one win. I placed my defective sensor (strange temp issue beyond -140C) as a backup sensor. Both sensors were fine untill -185C.
  16. It is to late, I was thinking about doing that but... While heating it up I saw a little bit of water near the power switch. So I turned it off. I don't want to take the risk.
  17. It was a sata issue. I moved sata to a different port, after that it worked. But now I have to stop anyway because now the tim did crack... +18C in XTU.
  18. With voltage settings on page 1 or any other voltage I can't boot to Windows with -100C where I could with -50C. I am still looking, but does anyone have an idea? Blue screens all over the place. Edit: -50 was with stock voltages
  19. Thanks I didn't try to get them down. I will do that later. I am not that well known with rtl's so I want to look at it when I have time. This was a quick run.
  20. I renewed my submission since spu speed was faulty (and I wasn't able to edit it): Sparks.nl`s SuperPi - 32M score: 5min 54sec 281ms with a Core i7 6700K
  21. Mine are from mid 2017, I had no 4266 option. I bought 3600 C15. 4133 was out the would have been about the same from what I expected. Edit: If money was not an issue I would think of buying 4266 now.
