When you say it I know it is a good kit :). I could do 12-20-20 as well but I didn't get it stable yet. I am in doubt because I really want to run my b die sets now. But I really want to know if it gets any better as well. Somehow I found it's sweetspot because I needed much more volts before. Edit: This kit is the onlyone I tested. So I didn't even bin a few kits before I started.

Another update. Timings are getting better every day. Note that tWR was at 5, the Asrock tool somehow doesn't get it right. Bios tells me I am correct. Now for 4133MHz...

I tried my cheap E die on Z170m OCF and it seems to be running better then on my OCF (as expected). 4GHZ C13 PI32M stable at 1.68v in bios (2T runs with less voltage). No OS tweaks done here. I will try more later.

I have a problem in Windows XP. My m OCF does not seem to run Formula Drive in Windows XP (32b). Version 3.0.31 installs but does not work. It gives me "This Utility is not for this platform". Version 3.0.94 installs but does not work. It gives me "The procedure entry point GetSystemFirmwareTable could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL". Does anybody know how I to solve the the problem? Edit: I tried bios 1.40 and P7.30. Edit 2: Never mind - PROBLEM SOLVED with version 3.0.78 - Strange that newer versions don't work.

And seems tonrun fine on my ocf and m ocf.

Not really, it died during it's transport to me. I tried to reflow it. Since then I am able to start the pc with a different gfx card and thisone in it. It isn't recognized tough... When booting with this card only it fails and gives a black image. All fans, buttons and lighting work. Maarten

I bought my golden for 400 on this site. I guess this is to much.

When I look at batch and serial numbers for Nehalem (X58) I never seem to end up here (I found the other sites). That is because there is no list on this site as far as I know off. Since i7 9x0 cpu's are low priced now it is a nice platform to overclock for a small budget and just to have some fun. I have a small list (attached) for the cpu's I benched lately. Feel free to add... Edit: I have a 980x (and had a W3680) as well but I never tested it above 0C. Edit 2: More info on picture and a small mistake.
