ROG OC SHOWDOWN EXTREME SERIES ROUND 3 DISCUSSION

Final check done, unfortunately I had to remove a few subs due to background missing and block some due to insufficient verification. At ties, I usually go with first stage result, then second one to determine if there is no explicit tie breaker rule -

I do not want to annoy you, we made this 4503 because of the problem with fluctuation. There has to be a solid limit, sorry that your bad luck at screening spoiled the fun but at a competition for prizes, I have to handle this strictly and cpuz frequency shown is the decider -

This score will not stay in the competition, sorry but rules are clear. So you should re run and hope for better luck at screening, we already have a safety zone by 4503 instead of 4500... -

Can be IMC or memory, iyou can try to vary mamem or waza size, if it doesn´t help it will be hardware related -

No chipset drivers needed, but you can use old ones iirc for other platforms (donßt nail me on this, I used xp without drivers or MEI), on USB you can only try barbonet´s method or a discrete USB 2.0 card -
I know, but I am already happy that some common sense ended this farce with 5,9ghz and more on so called waterloop. We see this too often

He will have to move up to extreme, no way he can stay at rookie/novice/enthusiast after this

It is an easy to do bench even for newcomers, it is supposed to give hints on system performance and show people that benchmarks and measuring system performance can be fun. Not all is about the money, and if you know me, you also know my opinion on big cash dominating the ranks P.S. anyway, we need a fix or we have a constant problem^^
-
I saw too much results out of line to think that this is new to some people, opinions can vary on if it was OK or not to publish this, but personally I refuse to blame the messenger, though it is always good if you contact staff first. "Tweaks" like these spread fast in the dark, at least now we have the awareness of people on this. Very tough situation, let´s hope there can be a fix

The novice and rookie competitions are limited to ambient cooling, he used single stage for a lot of results and therefore is not eligible anymore for these league comps iirc

Last check before commp ends, had to remove or block some results (removed bc of missing mainboard tabs and backgrounds) P.S. I removed another result now that I had info on it, if you have problems to submit am3, try to bench with sysinfo disabled -

At high frequency and tight timings B-die shows weakness on x64 os, try to set maxmem to reduce available memory to OS -

Same as on other thread, cores are limited to native two, if with or without hyperthreading is not important -
