Moose83 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Dont worry, you will have no luck with 1 CPU As Vivi said, 5-10 or more is the way to go for Class B Quote

alom Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) what kind of cool can be used in class B? air, water, or LN2? Edited June 27, 2014 by alom Quote
saint19 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 what kind of cool can be used in class B? wind, water, or LN2? Â What you want, but LN2 is the way to do something good. Quote
Massman Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Important Update: there will be no LN2 bios and no Afterburner Extreme for the GTX 750.  The reason is that the procedure to make 40 LN2 BIOSes (that's how many models there are worldwide) is too much work and the LN2 bios only increases the power limit slightly anyway. It should be possible to max out the card even without the special LN2 bios. For the Afterburner, it comes down to the PWM IC used for the GTX 750 doesn't support voltage control. So even with a special version, there wouldn't be any gain voltage wise  So yeah ... go crazy on the PWM modding! Quote

My thinking was that the AB and the bios would only remove the Nvidia clock limit and remove and coldbug (if any) and not give any power options. looking at the cards on google images the design would never allow the same type of control you get with a hawk or lightning Quote

raules009 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Bios ln2 and afterbuner extreme for the r9 290x lightning? Quote
Crew Vivi Posted June 27, 2014 Crew Posted June 27, 2014 maybe bios from 750ti from gskill contest will work Quote
Massman Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 There shouldn't be a clock limit according to MSI. The maximum limit in Afterburner should be +1000 Quote
Crew Vivi Posted June 27, 2014 Crew Posted June 27, 2014 There shouldn't be a clock limit according to MSI. The maximum limit in Afterburner should be +1000 Â ok so everyone should use latest afterburner and nvidia driver Quote
der8auer Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Use 335.xx driver. 337.xx will have a clock limit. Quote
Massman Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Oh, yeah. Â That will teach me to use email images Quote
Massman Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Bios ln2 and afterbuner extreme for the r9 290x lightning? Â Not sure you need an additional BIOS. Â The AfterBurner Extreme should be available though. Quote
alom Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 What you want, but LN2 is the way to do something good. Â air or water is ok, but ln2 is hard to find. If there is no limit, I will try to get ln2. Quote
