rsnubje
Nice stuff Any tips on mem oc with R5E? Can't seem to get it working properly. I also have a 3000C15 Gskill kit and a 2400C15 gskill kit, basicly 1.35v for the 3000 MHz kit and 1.2v for the 2400 MHz kit. On a Gigabyte SOC Force, the 2400 kit can run 3000 12-14-14-24 2T on 1.55v, but when I try the exact same timings with the 3000 MHz kit on the R5E, they won't work. Also when I disable ram training or whatever, it doesn't boot at any setting.
Hiwa
125 strap straight boot and hyperpi no problem at all here. Use xmp if you are not able to boot when set manually, also check your cache frequency. Good luck Thanks Xa Edited September 10, 2014 by Hiwa

TaPaKaH
The only available density at this point is 4Gbit. So 4GB modules are single-sided and 8GB modules are dual-sided.
dx4picco
okay thanks does it also affect performances like mfr Ss on s1150 for example? does dual sided crush a lot Oc ability or not?
Hiwa
I personally didn't try any double sided, but must be same as ddr3 version.

subaruwrc
how can i get this kit to work at rated specs on giga x99 soc force ? with a 5820k cpu i cannot boot over 125*22 - 2750mhz. 3000mhz is a no go. f6 bios. f6i beta either.
Crew Leeghoofd Posted April 1, 2015 Crew Share Posted April 1, 2015 Either the board or the IMC can't take it. My 5820K only does 3000Mhz stable under cold...
subaruwrc
Either the board or the IMC can't take it. My 5820K only does 3000Mhz stable under cold... My feeling is that the imc is not up for the task. Will try it under cold if it helps.
subaruwrc
It seems a no go with this chip. No cold test in the coming weeks so stuck with that.

ObscureParadox
What BCLK strap are you guys using? 125MHz gave me more problems than 100 when I tried it out for the first time a few weeks ago.
