Rauf
Ok, if you can't/don't want to rma then you can measure the resistance of the fuses near the usb ports. Any fuse with infinite resistance needs to be shorted.

elmor
We have some issues with some of the on-board fuses getting stuck in protection mode. It seems to happen easier if the board gets very cold. Simplest fix is to short them. KaRtA
@elmor - is it possible to flash OC Panel 1 firmware on these boards from Haswell firmware, or do I need to find a Haswell setup to flash it to suit Maximus IX? Hope that made sense.

My B-Die that only scale up to 1.9v until 0801, in this bios can run at 1.94v. So from 4000 12-11-11 1.9v can run at 4060 12-11-11 1.915v (and still run stable at 1.94v)

buildzoid
Ok so I finally got a B-die kit and a 7700K and in my first 6 hours with kit on the board I got 4000 12-13-13-28-1T working on 1.97V 32M stable. However the moment I set 4000 12-12-12-28-1T on any voltage from 1.88V to 2.05V I get a 3F POST code. Am I correct in assuming that my 7700K's IMC is the problem? suzuki
I have 2 7700k ,nothing special , and both can do over 4150 12-11-11 tight with vccio 1.2 & vccsa 1.25. I don't think you have imc issues, just settings not alright or mem not capable. Try with dram vtt between 0.83-0.87v . On what windows are you testing,x64 ? suzuki
Do any of you have issues with Apex and low scores on xp/xp64 with gen 2 graphic cards in 3Dmark 2001/2003 ? Compared with z170 and similar settings gt1 is lower and 2001 overall gives lower score. Any magical settings for legacy ?
