aurion.2358 Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Hey ! The end of the CC is in December and not in November as said in the "Rules". Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted November 5, 2017 Crew Posted November 5, 2017 (edited) Thx we will update, it should be december. Just take note of the different end dates all!!! Edited November 5, 2017 by Leeghoofd Quote
suzuki Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 On spi stage i just saw i missed one of the rules which states that you need to provide in the ss ,the spd of the ram kit used. I will redo my sub but in general,80% don't have this cpu-z window opened, they will be lots of results removed. Quote
yosarianilives Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Not sure why there's a requirement for spd or motherboard as it doesn't tell us much about what speed you were running, but I guess it's nice to know all the parts that were used. I guess we'll just have to make sure and use at gpus that can output at least 1080p Quote
suzuki Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 I think is for ES check up. Some have really good es ram. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Quote
Administrators websmile Posted November 9, 2017 Administrators Posted November 9, 2017 Exactly - on this rule (MB and SPD tab) I will work with pragmatism. This means, if I can check mainboard model for example at a futuremark link I can accept the result, on Super pi or other benchmarks where only screenshot gives information I will remmove results. So if you do not include the 4x CPUZ including mainboard and spd tab, you are playing at own high risk Quote
yosarianilives Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 I'm glad someone mentioned this before I've had a chance to run SuperPi as I totally would've missed it otherwise. Thanks! @suzuki and @websmile Quote

However, I 'd likme to mention that on cpu-z SPD tab, I sometimes get the ram info, but ometimes I don't get any data displayed (on the installed ram slots, obviously). On maximus 7 series and latest cpu-z for instance, no SPD info is given on Win7. But on XP, it is ok. No pb on 990fxa-ud7 on Win7, but no SPD info on Crosshair iv formula and Win7. Any idea why this is? Quote
Administrators websmile Posted November 13, 2017 Administrators Posted November 13, 2017 Most likely a driver issue or maybe of the way the OS was installed. It was not uncommon in the past that some tools did not work with other vendors correctly if you installed on certain brand. If you use Asus check if SPD is set to 1 at config/ini file of cpuz Quote
Alan_Alberino Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Z170 MOCF and W10 Creators update SPD not working on any CPU-Z version... Obviously won't use this OS to bench but some particular configurations have problems with SPD reading Quote
superpatodonaldo Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 About SPD I have nothing showed...probably due to XOC mode enabled (CPUZ.ini), I'll retry without XOC Quote
