ground Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Any that can do ~740 MHz+ with loose timings? Or am I looking at the wrong IC for that?
TaPaKaH Posted August 26, 2018 Author Posted August 26, 2018 740+ MHz suicide should be easily possible on most Ballistix 8500 sticks (and perhaps some others).
Administrators websmile Posted August 26, 2018 Administrators Posted August 26, 2018 Prices are per lot, that means all sticks listed at a specific number are included in the price. 1
TaPaKaH Posted August 26, 2018 Author Posted August 26, 2018 @Noxinite: I wasn't explicitly targeting your record. I haven't tried a single stick for max clocks or at voltage higher than 2.3V in my testing. My goal was to find a replacement / backup for my set of 8000 Ballistix that I had for more than a decade now. That set has recently stopped booting at 1.8V which made board and CPU testing quite annoying (since you have to troubleshoot RAM). I found and bought three comparable sticks, the rest is for sale here. I am not hoarding good D9GMH, nor do I distribute these among some secret circles. I want to give everyone an equal chance so I am responding to messages / am finalising the transactions in "first come first serve" order. 2
lanpartyut Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 (edited) you got pm i will take these: 2x1GB Compustocx (CSX) Diablo 9200. 2x1GB Cellshock 8000 2x1GB Kingston HyperX 9600 2x1GB TeamXtreem 8500 2x1GB Corsair Dominator 9136C5 Edited August 27, 2018 by lanpartyut
GtiJason Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 (edited) I should of posted earlier but just wanted people to know what I ordered about 4 hours ago so very similar alternatives can be bought So 1, 4 and 13 are most likely gone tho Tapakah is the only person who can confirm/deny this 11 is almost exactly same as 13 so we should both be happy Ozzie Edited August 27, 2018 by GtiJason
TaPaKaH Posted August 27, 2018 Author Posted August 27, 2018 I see there is quite a pile-up in the thread and in my PM inbox of people willing to buy the same items. To avoid confusion and/or frustration, I am going to process one purchase request at a time, in the order that they came in. So it might take time (up to a few days) for me to respond to some messages. In case item you wanted is already gone, you will be given first hand in selecting from possible alternatives. The "queue" at the moment is: (note that this forum engine doesn't allow to extract the precise timestamp of a message, so I'll just use "X hours ago" with current time as a baseline) TAGG - private message 12 hrs ago. Transaction is finalised. sale_quiche - private message 12 hours ago. Transaction in progress. GtiJason - private message 7 hours ago. ChilliMan - private message 6 hours ago. lanpartyut - thread post and private message 3 hours ago. ozzie - thread post 2 hours ago. 1 1
bolc Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 (edited) Hi, anything wrong with #35 items ? Do they boot fine at 1.8 V, and work fine at XMP specs? Probably some 500 cas4 2.18 V ish or not even that? I might take it based on your answers Thanks ++ Edited September 5, 2018 by bolc
TaPaKaH Posted September 6, 2018 Author Posted September 6, 2018 None of the sticks in lot #35 have any issues with booting at 1.8V. I have only tested them quickly with test #5 of DOS MemTest at 550 4-4-4 2.30V - none of them passed so I did not proceed with 32M testing. I reckon that most of them will still do 32M at 500 4-4-4 with 2.18V.
