Splave
So beyond the obvious the ryzen results are flowing in and disable points check box is not working for some people. Beyond this fact, submissions that have points disabled are still affecting the rankings. Every result that is below the submission itself is getting points for one rank less. Pretty sure its not supposed to work this way or am I wrong? If it is the way its supposed to work you may as well just give the subs points because they are impacting the current rankings. (yes im an intel shill blah blah just want to clear up the rules thx) Edited July 8, 2019 by Splave
Noxinite
I think it's always worked like that? Edit: not the disable box not working ofc. I had some issue with that when I disabled all my XTU and maxxmem scores about 6 months back. Edited July 8, 2019 by Noxinite
Splave
So do I need to post timer drift world records in each category for some action to be taken or?
Members GeorgeStorm
I believe that's intended behaviour, could argue that submissions that don't follow the rules shouldn't be there at all? But yeah at the moment it doesn't really work. Edited July 9, 2019 by GeorgeStorm
Lucky_n00b
Can confirm the disabled points didn't work, I try to edit 3 times with tickbox still the same, it showed 'no points' in the submission but when cheking rankings globally it's shown still given points.
Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 9, 2019 Crew Share Posted July 9, 2019 (edited) I edited many subs to not go for points, but indeed the GL points seem to stay in the ranking... another bug to report... Anyone tested the new AMD to see if RTC bug is still possible ? Edited July 9, 2019 by Leeghoofd

I can hold on to this system for another 2 days, what should I check? Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 9, 2019 Crew Share Posted July 9, 2019 can you drop in windows so boot in at 100, open benchmark CB eg, drop to 95 and run it, is it comparable score ?

flanker
How to fix this to the future? I think, time chceker is fine as proof, or not?
_mat_
Reviews and first benchmark results show base clocks from 99.8 to 102.4 (screen below, from the Computerbase review - doubt they changed much in BIOS). So I guess it highly depends on board and BIOS, as always. Would also make sense to up it to get a little bit more boost for the infinity fabric, am I right? Otherwise it seems to be always 33 MHz steps. Well, we'll see. @flanker, what would that proof? That the timer has not been skewed at some point but nobody knows exactly when and if that was during the benchmark run? BenchMate 0.8 will come out tomorrow. We should find out what we need to make things right and add them. Tests will tell. Edited July 9, 2019 by _mat_ 2

Guest Wasmachineman_NL
Whoa, will BenchMate also run on XP/Vista? @_mat_
_mat_
XP is sadly not possible due to missing OS/kernel functionality. See my post here: https://community.hwbot.org/topic/190025-the-official-benchmate-support-thread/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-534605 Vista could work with some additional creative problem solving, but nobody seems to use it nowadays so the effort might be spent better elsewhere.
