TaPaKaH Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 team member contributions are still calculated wrong, so are hardware points (I don't have 8K)
kirbster Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 no way enthusiast league is correct. i went from 380th in rev 3 to 10xxx in rev4. calculations cannot be right.
Massman Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Must be an issue with the code then. We'll fix it when the final design is ready. Like it?
Q56_Monster Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Yeah, I like the buttons. Having a bunch of different ways to get to information is is a good thing:)
Massman Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 The main difference is that the sidebar is now visually split off from the main (center) part of the site. Also some finetuning of the typography etc.
ARandomOWL Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I'm wondering...why is Super Pi 32M displaying in seconds only and wPrime 1024M showing in minutes and seconds? Surely it should be the other way around? Why there are no ranking numbers in the rankings? And where is the magic button to allow me to see more than the top 20 of any ranking?
knopflerbruce Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I think both should be minutes and seconds:) Wprime is ranked by # of cores, it looks stupid to have seconds only in the singlecore ranking:p
ARandomOWL Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I think both should be minutes and seconds:) Wprime is ranked by # of cores, it looks stupid to have seconds only in the singlecore ranking:p I said seconds only as wPrime gives it's scores in seconds only so it kinda makes sense.
knopflerbruce Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I said seconds only as wPrime gives it's scores in seconds only so it kinda makes sense. Yeah, and I don't like it. If the clock is 08.10, we don't say it's 600 (seconds) past 8, do we? The rankings look better if we use days, hours, minutes and seconds. However, you need to figure out the number of seconds you need to beat a second score before benching. I think that's a fair trade for a better looking ranking. After studying physics and mathematics for a few years I'd say it looks noobish if you only count seconds:p
ARandomOWL Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I also study physics and maths Also, I agree. wPrime is the cause of the problem and not HWBot (just like many other things *cough*).
K404 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I'd like to see some of Karls old-school wP scores ranked in seconds.......

IanCutress Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 http://uat.hwbot.org/league/enthusiast/ This league calculation leaves much to be desired. It was working correctly on the first time you made it available - did you roll back to a previous, unworking version?
Massman Posted May 26, 2011 Author Posted May 26, 2011 UAT will be refreshed when we finalised the design (currently in progress). Should be in a few days.
kirbster Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 i moved myself to overclockers league and nothing at all changed in my ranking. So the ranking is definitely borked. Makes it hard for us to understand how the changes in V4 will affect our rankings.
Christian Ney Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 The engine doesn't refresh/racalc automatically by now

Massman Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 Fyi, we've finished the last design optimisations and started bug-squashing hardstyle. New design visible at http://uat.hwbot.org/
knopflerbruce Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Points earned World Record Points: 880.00 Global Points: 9,207.20 Hardware Points: 29,756.00 (limited to top-20 most rewarding submissions (no effect in Pro OC League)) Total Points: 10,387.20 Total boints dont include HW. Bug or on purpose?
Massman Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 That's part of the bug-squashing, not of the design optimisation. Last week was focus on design.
knopflerbruce Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 http://uat.hwbot.org/user/knopflerbruce?3#Achievements Two "HWBot" achievement tabs, one seems empty.
TaPaKaH Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) bugreport - if want to see someone's submissions in their profile - some benchmarks are mentioned multiple times (and those are not really cpu benchmarks) pic - http://h7.abload.de/img/aaa0uc0.png also (may be because of that) the 2D hardware points are calculated incorrectly ... an actual sum of all my 2D submissions is 7357.6 points (calculated manually) but hardware masters page says it's 7407 Edited May 28, 2011 by TaPaKaH

Predator Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) Pieter, is it planned or would it be possible to add a tab in which you can see how the total points for Team League rankings have been obtained? i mean for an specific Team in their profile Just to being able to figure out for every team how to improve and develope strategies, and how can everyone focus on hardware/benchmarks that helps their team better It would be also nice as a request feature as for the benchmark rankings, which are now split by [worldwide, europe, asia, etc] to add the possibility to browse by country, so if in example i'd want to see the ranking for an specific benchmark for Spain i'd find it easy i mean here: where it's marked in red, adding the possibility to click on Europe for example, and it splits by all European countries, so you can pick the one you want to compare Edited May 28, 2011 by Predator
