Christian Ney Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) You guys changed the swiss flag for the red cross flag ? I know I am nuts but not all swiss guys are Edited May 28, 2011 by Christian Ney
Arjan400016 Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I don't get points! it says Points earned: 264,10 (right now) but all other rankings show zero points. Take a look at my hwboints history chart. It's going from somewhere around 250 straight down to zero.
Massman Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 Yes. We're trying to figure out a way to work around those issues. Your suggestion is a possible solution. Decision has been taken. We changed the Enthusiast League algoritm so that no pictures are required for the scores submit pre-R4 (may 28th). For a user who is competing in the enthusiast league, it will from May 28th be necessary to add pictures to the submissions they want points for (in the Enthusiast League). Note: the picture rule only applies to the Enthusiast League user point calculation! Scores without pictures will still contribute to the team points AND also count to user points if the user is competing in a different league. Arjan400016 Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Thanks! it works. I had scores with pictures (and a lot without) but i had zero points. So it was not only a picture thing.

voidn Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) Hey I found my friend the drunk bot! http://uat.hwbot.org/benchmark/3dmark03/rankings?start=0&cores=2&hardwareTypeId=videocard_1476 Edit: Will the [hwbot] tags still work in rev 4? I'd hate to loose by best thread http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=646030 Edited May 28, 2011 by voidn
knopflerbruce Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 http://uat.hwbot.org/benchmark/maxxmem/ Can't sort by DDR type, which is a bit annoying:p
|ron Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I noticed that, if I click on my team in the rankings, it says "sorry the team doesn't exist" or something like that. But, if I add a "/" at the end of the link, it goes to the correct page. The same happens for all the teams which have ".net", ".it", ".org" in the end of their name, just like hwproject.net So, this doesn't work: http://uat.hwbot.org/team/hwproject.net But this is ok: http://uat.hwbot.org/team/hwproject.net/
jmke Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 good to see the new profile is shaping up as proposed in the past :-)
Lippokratis Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 i think the ranking for the member in the team is a little bit buggy. for it shows 15th place for me (http://uat.hwbot.org/user/lippokratis/) but when i click on the ranking i'm 10th. is there a different algorithm for the rankings?
sumonpathak Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 in memeber list it says i have 32.7 user points.... http://uat.hwbot.org/team/erodov/ in my profile it says i have 28 points.... http://uat.hwbot.org/user/sumonpathak/ am i missing something?
Lippokratis Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 in memeber list it says i have 32.7 user points....http://uat.hwbot.org/team/erodov/ -> points for the Team TPP and UP/10 in my profile it says i have 28 points.... http://uat.hwbot.org/user/sumonpathak/ -> your points from all your submissions am i missing something?

It's possible that some scores are not counted towards your personal total, but are still contributing to your team. For instance, your 16th best global score or your 21st best hardware score.

Lippokratis Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 okay but why is the place different? i just click on the link and the place is different. it should be the same otherwise it is a little bit confusing 15th but after clicking on the link 10th
Massman Posted May 29, 2011 Author Posted May 29, 2011 Oh, okay, now I see the issue. It should be the same. Let's check it out.
Jurky Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Are the global points going to be counted in enthusiasts league?
Christian Ney Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 No, only hw points in enthusiast league. The enthusiast league should not be a race about who has the most money to buy the fastest hardware, but who can push his hardware the most on air/water. Interesting

The enthusiast league should not be a race about who has the most money to buy the fastest hardware, but who can push his hardware the most on air/water. Hmm, but you need a fast hardware (at least CPU) if you want to get any points at all... Than the formula written in the first post should be changed, since it says that global points will be calculated in enthusiast league.
xxbassplayerxx Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Now instead of buying a nice CPU you'll have to buy tons of old ones. I have a card that I use for gaming and I've also benched the crap out of it. It just happens that it's a decent card and gets me some globals. It'll still be a competition of who has the most money... except it will be used to buy tons of cheaper components rather than the best at the time.
