Indeed Chiller, indeed...

I think it's a great product in the hands of some people, but you only advertise it with some screenshots of the item, not what it can do.

Just show us some results : orb links, hwbot links,......

And we will be silent, no dirty words from us anymore.

Like Massman said, it's a innovative product and there will be a market for it, but it's the results that count not the looks.

Yes. I'm pointing out that in none of the million spam threads you posted all over the internet, there's anything but pure advertising regarding the Untouchable.

I don't have a problem with advertisment; it's part of the game. Just don't pretend it's something close to an evidence-based review or comparison of some sort.

//edit: once again, for the record, I think it's absolutely awesome that Evga released the Untouchable! Triple thumbs up for that!

I'm not talking about GTX285, but 6670.

Once my Matrix is fixed again, I'll try to beat that score with software.

70 mhz gain with LN² instead of Dice ?

Nothing proved here.

Before someone tells me some cards don't scale with cold, Indeed Chiller.

Nice.

GTX285 + untouchable + dryice = 950MHz core

GTX285 + untouchable + ln2 = 1025MHz core

Conclusion: untouchable gives more mhz

did i say that? don't turn my words around.

i'm talking about the same cooling method, ln² vs ln² stock vrm and ut vrm

Once my Matrix is fixed again, I'll try to beat that score with software.

offcourse with you're faster cpu it will be no problem.

EDIT : this is getting anti chiller here, get a life, stop trolling, this is about a nice toy.

i don't react anymore, it says enough what way this is heading from madshrimps team.

Right here:

Stock VRM ref gtx285 Vmod LN² : max 945Mhz core, with Untouchy 1025-1050Mhz core

Stock ati 6670 Vmod LN² : max 1400Mhz core, Untouchy 1600Mhz core

8800gt died while benching with artifacts, but will be redone and more vga's to come

Lol, dude ... :D :D :D

If I were Evga, I'd pay you not to talk about the Untouchable's capabilities anymore. Just like this: Abercrombie offer the folks from Jersey Shore to not wear their clothes on air.

I'm not talking about CPU power, GPU CORE Speed!

  • 3 weeks later...

der8auer tested the EPower board with a 8800GTS/512 @ Dice and reported small frequency gains for GPU and VRAM (likely you will see bigger gains @ LN2): http://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/extreme-kuehlmethoden/203800-vmod-extreme-evga-epower-board-untouchables-im-test.html (German --> English via translator)

He's preparing an English version, too, so stay tuned. :)
