Massman Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Official bug thread for the Aquamark3 HWBOT Wrapper V2. Quote
mtech Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 It seems like this Aquamark version (2.22) doesn`t work correctly with nVidia 9800 GTX+ card. Tried different drivers (197.45 and 310.90) and OSes (Win7x64 and two versions of Win XP SP3 x86). Aquamark runs correctly and shows the result, opens cpuz/gpuz, but after clicking on "Save result" button result is not saved in Aquamark3 Results folder. Please help. Regular Aquamark 3 and old wrapper works fine. Maybe it`s because card name contains slash or +: "NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX/9800 GTX+" Tried with 8600 GT under the same OSes and it works great. Quote

mtech Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I checked - version 2.23 works fine with 9800 GTX+ and result was saved correctly. Thanks a lot, GENiEBEN! Quote
tiborrr Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Same problem with 2.23 (i downloaded the file 2.23 but the version says 2.22), it doesn't want to save result. Perhaps the version from the link (http://www.tiny.cc/hwbotaqua) will work. I am getting annoyed running this. I have 84k+ in AM3 but cannot save it and I am running low on dry ice after two days. GENiEBEN Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 With the help of ZL1 I've managed to identify the problem you guys were experiencing. Basically the system is missing the Visual C++ 2008 package so the encryption tool wasnt able to run. I will integrate it in the next installer, meanwhile you can manually download them here: 32bit: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10046731/Software/vcredist_x86.exe 64bit: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10046731/Software/vcredist_x64.exe Quote
Stermy57 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 That was fixed in v2.23. Download latest version at http://www.tiny.cc/hwbotaqua i have the same problem i tested 2.22 and 2.24! with radeon 7000/Geforce 4 TI 4200 and 6600GT AGP Quote
Stermy57 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Did you read the post above you? ohh sorry Genieben! I have not read the last post i try it soon Quote
tiborrr Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) 2.22 also does not save Please add a button to save file manually (via Save as dialog). EDIT: I ran out of dry ice yesterday, I am kindly asking moderators to add my result manually in the database. The setup is the same as here: http://hwbot.org/submission/2354773_tiborrr_3dmark2001_se_geforce_fx_5900_xt_39037_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2354775_tiborrr_3dmark03_geforce_fx_5900_xt_10165_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2354777_tiborrr_3dmark05_geforce_fx_5900_xt_1928_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2354778_tiborrr_3dmark06_geforce_fx_5900_xt_614_marks Edited February 9, 2013 by tiborrr Quote
GENiEBEN Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Seriously now, do people even read what I post. Last I checked I even PM'd you. I just said it was fixed last NIGHT AT 3AM. It is not a fault with the wrapper but with a missing file from your Windows. With the help of ZL1 I've managed to identify the problem you guys were experiencing. tiborrr Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I ran out of dry ice yesterday evening, see the time stamp on my results. I am very disappointed by your attitude, really, you say like it's my fault the software you have published does not come with the necessary installation files while the software doesn't says there are any missing files, needed for proper operation. I wish this was tested more thoroughly before it was released. My benching time is very scarce these days, I have a full-time job and am away from home during the week. I plan even the simplest benching sessions weeks in advance and these sort of events just piss me off. Quote
wesjuhdabomb Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Had a good bench session today with 2.24 without any real problems. Just a question.. I always save my results to a USB drive, incase the OS gets corrupt or condensation issues that force you to quit.. You name it. Is it possible (just asking) that you can choose the save location? If you don't enter anything it just gets saved to desktop? Quote

Sorry, but I got a little carried away as I wasted one night fixing a bug no one reported in the 2 months it was available as preview version. I understand your situation and I will help you get a datafile. I will PM you with further info soon. Had a good bench session today with 2.24 without any real problems. Just a question.. ZL1 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Gen, use caps and bold and attention emoticons p.s. great work ! Quote
PAQd Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 GENiEBEN, Great job on the wrapper. One note: Subbed today http://hwbot.org/submission/2355457 but the wrapper did not recognise my 2500K. From what I saw it appears the "-" between i5-2500K caused the issue. Minor but had to go back in and edit after initial sub to insert CPU speed as it would not allow initially. ...PAQd Quote
Devroush Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Yep, hardware matching doesn't work if it is a new string (and it was new because of the '-' like you said). It should work fine now. Quote
reggiesanchez Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Not really a bug but seems like a good place to post. Can we have one that doesn't require opening CPUz/gpuz after every run. Quote
