Guest cowgut Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 That and power mod shown But i have added little volts till now so doing it that way has not botherd me much. It should read more voltage if on stock bios,i used the 37mv to sweeten my hardmod so its there on unmodded bios. If you have the one in this tread you cant move voltage with the slider but should be around 1.23v 3d. Well the mod is there but your going to have to do more if you want extreme. I will try not to glow any phases till close to eol I must be getting old but for now i'm happy with 1250 gaming and benching @1.28v on an h70 cooler Quote

Guest cowgut Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Thanks Gino :celebration: no problem bro good luck with some crasy clocks Power mod? I asked tin a few wks ago its same as 680 so i shorted the power sence resisters,i called it power mod sorry The two 5mo under the power connectors that control the gpu side of things Quote
Dancop Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Any died cards until now? I want to mod my three titans! Quote
Crew Vivi Posted July 5, 2013 Crew Posted July 5, 2013 call me a bunny but i just want to clarify this pic from shamino: for VCORE on Titan just bridge a 100ohm VR across these 2 points as usual http://www.freeimagehosting.net/s7gtj In the pic above, by "bridge" does he mean solder 100ohm vr to ground, in that case only need to solder on one of the resistors. or does he mean bridge as in i have to link them. thanks.. and what is the overvoltage mod for? Quote
K404 Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I don't have a Titan, maybe one of those points is ground? Quote
FireKillerGR Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 try to measure the resistance. If its the same u will see that u only have to use one of them. If not u will have to solder a 100ohm between these two points Quote
Guest cowgut Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Pretty sure he means to "bridge the two points with a 100k vr",or he would have said to "connect either of these points to a 100k vr and ground" Going to try this mod over next few days so i'll post up if useing the 2 point is the way. Could just ask him to clarify if in a rush. Quote
Crew Vivi Posted July 5, 2013 Crew Posted July 5, 2013 And by bridge u mean the 2 live parts of the vr, not ground Quote
Guest cowgut Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) The way i remember his post is 1 post from vr to one resister and one post to the other so yes no ground it seems. not sure the princable maybe 1 is ground as mentioned org. thread here http://kingpincooling.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2233 Edited July 6, 2013 by cowgut Quote
Crew Vivi Posted July 6, 2013 Crew Posted July 6, 2013 how cowgut, do you know the difference between the lab501 mod for vcore and this one? im using the one from lab and it seems to be fine, havent pushed to see how much i can get from it yet tho Quote
Guest cowgut Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Thats the 1 i use I heard ovp kicks in on the lab501 mod, thats why i use it. Quote
[DRACO] Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Vmod been testing, 2-point, Vr 100 ohm But the graph does not start and makes a noise quite rare THE voltage with vmod vt is 0.47, If I disable the vmod working properly, Someone knows that could be wrong? Another vmod? regards Quote
Crew Vivi Posted July 25, 2013 Crew Posted July 25, 2013 I Use 1k vr. the spot on the VGA is 110ohm, if you solder 100ohm that will be around 55ohm and for me that would mean 1.6 - 1.7v is my guess. so i use 1k vr and dial it to get 1.5v for ln2 (dengerous for pwm), but when i measure 1.5v on VGA the resistance is 85 ohm at the mod spot. so i dont know what 55ohm is going to do if you use a 100ohm vr Quote
rbuass Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 (edited) Use this to stock VRM, will work. I don't recommend to go more than 1.35V.... some cards can death easy, and if the 12V go direct to GPU, also no way to install external PWM after. Take care @ or you can use Vivi's way .... that's great Edited July 29, 2013 by rbuass Quote
[DRACO] Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hello Brother, I does this mod ... No other? wonder when you start the voltage is very low 0.57 vt Quote

No other? wonder when you start the voltage is very low 0.57 vt[/quote'] bro, that spot on card read 110ohm. you can not solder 100ohm vr to 110ohm mod spot and expect card to be fine. use 1k vr Quote
Dancop Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Would it be possible to use this engineering BIOS on 780? I have a Classified here...after a solved problem with Powertargert, I was able to run 1540 @ Dice and LN2...but then I measured the voltage, adjusted by EVBOT... 1,44V= 1,44V VGPU 1,48V= 1,48V VGPU 1,5V= 1,5V VGPU 1,52V= 1,5V VGPU!!! 1,65V= 1,5V VGPU!!! OdrzutoweWrotki Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Sorry Guys. I have problem with this BIOS. I've got ASUS GTX Titan and cannot flash it with NVFlash. I've got message : WARNING : Firmware image PCI Subsystem ID <10DE.8451. does not match adapter PCI Subsystem ID <1043.8451>. ERROR : PCI Subsystem ID mismatch. ____________ So what I have to do to flash it ? Some special command in NVFLASH to push to flashing ? Quote
rsnubje Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Use -4 -5 -6 in the command. Should cover everything Quote
OdrzutoweWrotki Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 (edited) Use -4 -5 -6 in the command. Should cover everything Can You give me full line command pls ? for example : Nvflash -i1 GK110XOC.rom (with Your -4 -5 -6 : where to put it?) (i have to use -i1 because i've got Titan in 2nd PCI port,0 is for rescue card). so it shall look : nvflash -i1 -4 -5 -6 GK110XOC.rom ? Edited August 19, 2013 by OdrzutoweWrotki Quote

OdrzutoweWrotki Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 nvflash --index=0 -4 -5 -6 GK110XOC.ROM 2 last questions : 1.Command -4 is not listed on NVFLASH command list.I got only -5 and -6.Why ? Do I have some old NvFlash ? 2.--index=0 ? You mean that it will point correct PCI port and card located in 2nd port ? Titan is located in 2nd port and has nr 1.That's why I always use command nvflash -i1 romname.rom. So as I understand it shall be --index=1 ? in my case. Quote
rsnubje Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Yes, in your case that should probably be 1. 4 might have been in an older version actually. I use it tho I see indeed it's not listed. 5 and 6 should be used most of the time however, to prevent problems like you had. If you would have had an old nvflash you probably couldn't flash your titan in the first place. Quote
