At this moment I've tesed 32 CPUs(4670K and 4770K). Just one is good. No, it is awesome CPU ))

After some quickie and rough testing this 4770k is much better than I've had before. When i say rough testing all I've done is adjust the Core speed up one at a time and adjusting the Vcore to suite. All run on XMP settings for the ram, so i might even been able to drop V a little with tweaking of the other settings.

 

This is my second from the batch L312B515 and so far seems in line with some of the others. Although i wont know what this will scale like like under cold.

 

So i started the Vcore @1.15v and this was good to 4.5ghz. Then at 4.6ghz it would make the run halfway through wPrime 1024 and PI32M and BSOD. As mentioned above maybe playing with the other settings 1.15v might be possible for 4.6ghz. So i bumped it too 1.2 in bios and no problems. Just going to play on other settings and get the efficiency dialled in @4.5ghz, then maybe push Cores more tonight as it's getting a bit warm here in Brissy.

 

 

 

 

This is good for me and might not compare to some of the pro guys obviously, but in saying that i'm very happy. Have now gone through 4.7 @1.2 also no problems.

I had one 4770K, 4.5 GHz @ 1.2v but to boot into OS at 4.6 GHz it wanted 1.35v...

Any one got another bench test on this chip ? this one is quite good.. hope to find this chip in my area ..

 

At the moment below is mine with L312B534 Batch number.

Stable @ 4.6ghz/4.4ghz cache with 1.35v , Pass aida stress test i stop it at 2 hours 40 minutes. Pass Cinebech, pass 3dmark fire strike and pass cpumark 7.

 

This Chip can reach 4.8ghz * 1.4v but not stable at all in all test i try (cinebench,aida,linx), i never test go beyond 1.4v because of my cooling limitation only use corsair H50.

4.4Ghz - 1.15v

4.5Ghz - 1.182v (boots to OS & light load 1.15v)

4.6Ghz - 1.229v (boots to OS & light load 1.20v)

4.7Ghz - 1.280v (boots to OS & light load 1.25v, it passed Cinebech11.5, but failed in games ie Bf3,..)

 

I hopped for 5Ghz @ 1.28v, but noo (it almost booted to OS @ 1.30v).. Still kinda ok chip imo
