Cische-Jungle Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) They told me the TF3-card uses reference pcb, so this should work for both. Edit: the info doesn't seem correct, I'll double check. I'm sorry I did not understand, this would be removed on PE? The bios is ok? One other question, someone knows indicate the OCP Mod on PE? Thanks Edited July 17, 2013 by Cische-Jungle Quote
elmor Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I'm sorry I did not understand, this would be removed on PE? The bios is ok? One other question, someone knows indicate the OCP Mod on PE? Thanks I'm sorry, still waiting for confirmation. The mod is definitely for reference pcb and I'm quite sure the TF3 card is not reference, so don't remove that resistor. This info is what r&d gave me, you're free to try the bios but it's on your own risk until I've confirmed it's the correct one. Quote

rbuass Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 lol Ronaldo can't work out why some overclockers complained Lol... Yes buddy... Complaining this way about the competition, maybe will assure MOA 2013 will be the last So... is better to have the competition... even the rules is not "perfect"... than MSI give up for the next year. The Mutt Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 [edited] CBB mod for reference PCB http://i.imgur.com/iU6nNBv.jpg (reference pcb) Below is the bios I got from R&D for 560 Ti 448, but it's not clear yet if it's for reference pcb or for the TF3/PE version. http://elmorlabs.com/files/560ti448tf3ln2.zip Perfect! Will try it next week and hope it works and the card benefits from it. Quote
The Mutt Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 ln2 bios works fine no CBB and no CB Superb! Quote

Crew pro Posted July 18, 2013 Crew Posted July 18, 2013 zolio dialing the mods in, everyone get ready for a big downtime Quote
Calathea Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Are you sure about all 4 zzolio? One of the resistors are probably linked to RT - switching frequency. For total OCP we have only pin #2 on regulator uP1981A and for channel OCP we have pin #30. Should be enough to short those 2 pins to ground. This is how I have benched, but I saw no difference at all before/after on PE/OC card. For pinout I'm using http://ceemic.pri.ee/hardware/datasheets/uP6208.pdf which should be the same, I'm sure you've looked here too. Quote
zzolio Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 it works for me according to the data sheet you link to RT has a resistor directly to GND Quote
Calathea Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 So nothing for PE/OC? Let's hope the bios guys at MSI work weekends... this can really destroy the competition if just some get unlocked bios. Quote
elmor Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 No word yet, it's gonna be at least until next week. Quote
Calathea Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Alright thanks. I know you're doing your best but damn those fellas at R&D are slooow. Quote
