rsnubje
Correct. I expected some ES samples to be posted tho. I already got my retail, as you could see. Some webshop accidently put the 4930K online at the day of the media NDA date and I ordered. Next day they send out a mail to everyone who ordered to tell they wouldn't send out untill today. Luckily I know the owner
hokiealumnus
from today sales are allowed not ? Yep! Newegg has the 4930K for $580 & 4960X for $1050. My 4960X ES (QF7Z) gets 4.6GHz stable at 1.4V loaded. I can't get it to boot or really even run benches at 4.8 GHz at up to 1.5V. I did manage a 5GHz validation once (for just long enough to hit F7 before it crashed). Anybody had better results than this on water? I feel like it's low, but maybe these just need extreme temperatures to do much of anything? Xtreme Addict
They are bad air/wc clockers. LN2 is made for them!

Andrix85
4820K can be easier clocker than 4770K ?
der8auer
Yes, especially because the IHS is soldered. At least on air. No clue about LN2.

At least 4930K it's a good clocker...If my 4770K L310B490 don't scale I will try 4820K...

rsnubje
1 small correction, the last 4930k is retail. The one that does 5650 ln2. So is the 4820k.
