Is there a link for the official release of the board with an October date ? Cause the one i posted above (from asus.com) , clearly shows 20/11/2013. Other dates, like retail availability or announcements, sometimes differ from region to region.
FatBoyNotSoSlim
Hey Massman, When are you going to do a big front page congratulatory post to Australia? I've found some images for you to use when you do: And my personal favourite: A fresh load of Australia sandbags ready for delivery.

TASOS
How about this http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/news/article.php?storyid=8272 That's just a news post from a tech site and nothing more. The date we use to determine "retail" is always the NDA date. Other dates, like retail availability or announcements, sometimes differ from region to region. That procedure , doesnt make sense at all. Perhaps you should reconsider things a bit more. There's even different NDA types (non-disclosure agreement) and dates for different persons. Even more , there where NDA's and announcements in the past and no official release of a product (AMD cpu's for example). You are blocking results for typical reasons and minor details ... and on the other hand you are permitting results done with a non existant board or a board that only friends and family of the company actually had , at that date. Anyway that's my opinion. At the end it's your call. Your game , your rules.
zeropluszero
Aren't we done with this nda stuff? Only thing that mattered was 780ti, and no one used it.
der8auer
I would understand if the discussion was about GPUs or CPUs but mainboard don't even give you a special advantage. I can run the same clocks on my R4BE and on the normal R4E.
Massman
Just to give everyone a heads-up, the prizes will be shipped after CES. The main reason is that both myself as the people in Gskill who are dealing with the shipment will be attending CES. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope you understand .
