General overclocking

Hi people, Today i try to do an overclock to my system. I have a "overclock cooler" and i try to do something. I have a E5200 2.5Ghz and a Asus P5KPL-CM. In the motherboard i choose the FSB at 240 which is 3.0GHz, but in Windows after some time i get an BSOD. I try to make it manual al choose the CPU frequency to 240 but i have an BSOD again. Lets look at some few benchmarks, and how look my PC n.1 :-). Its only "quick" runs, not time tweaks (main memory), know, i can run with higher RAM clocks and better timing, speccially help me for superpi runs (1M a few and 32M will more better) How look my new third PC? Hello People, I am new here and if someone could please help me it would be great. I wonder if there is sort of a lock on the phneom 9650 going further than 292Mhz referenceclock. I want to beat the CPU-Z record for this chip, since second place isnt really the thing that makes me happy. I want to have the highest clocked phenom 9650 on air. I allready did the record for wprime1024&32M but i cant clock anything beyond 292Mhz. Is the chip limiting me or is it the board? Hi all, I'm about to build an i7. I've just finished the component selection and would appreciate any comments from the experts. The details of the build are located here: http://www.kevinabbott.com Any advice/criticism is welcome. One last thing, any schematics of a trypical water cooling system would be a big help. I have not water cooled before and am still trying to figure out the loop. I know the obvious config but am still pondering the details like how it would support easy draining. I'm also wondering if one loop can support video, cpu, and motherboard blocks and still be effective. Like I said be for, feel free to tell me where i'm going wrong.

Could someone recommend me some settings for me to overclock. I'm on air cooling , using the Venomous X with 2 Scythe S-Flex Gs. I've read many other guides but none using 1866mhz rams. I would like to know if i can overclock to 4Ghz and above. Here's what I'm using. Processor: Intel i7 930 Motherboard: EVGA X58 SLI LE Rams: Team Xtreem 1866mhz CL9 Cooler: Venomous X + 2 SFlex Gs. The pros out there , could recommend me some settings ;x. Much appreciated.

I see some members who did overclock their card have a very similar PC to me. But I can't seem to overclock the card?! Any ideas on what to do to overclock this card? Cheers

Hello everybody, I would not say that I'm a newbie to OC'ing, I know all of the steps to perform for a good overclock, the DRAM frequency, FSB and all of that. I recently got my self a Maximus II Formula and a E8400, I think that I got a fairly good chip since I'm OCCT stable at 460*9 @ 1.24V. Any way as all serious OC'er I would like to continue to see what this chip can do, I'm on air cooling for the moment, but I do have a WC set around, but no reservoir. So getting to my problem: I'm stable no problem @ 460*9 but at 465*9 I get a BSOD, the same happened at 465*8, etc... No matter how high I go on the voltages I still have a problem. It's my first time trying to overclock (I don't want to do it with the home computer), so I found a really old motherboard with a 766 MHz Celeron Coppermine for really cheap. The problem is that it has the Phoenix BIOS 4.0.1 (which won't let me access basically anything to do with processor speed) so I've been trying to do it through software (SoftFSB, CPU Boost, etc), but I haven't found a program that recognizes the old motherboard. Does anybody know of a software that will? As the title says it's ASUS CUW-AM with a Celeron Coppermine-128 processor. Thanks.

Hi ! (sorry if my English is bad) After having burned my CPU/MB, I decided to overclock my graphics card. As in the title, it's a 9600GT (650/900 but I flashed BIOS and now it's 690/950). My maximum with the stock Vcore/VID is 770-1100/1050. Because of my need of points (), I tried to set more Vcore/VID with all the softwares in the galaxy, except NiBiTor. Without succes.
