Hi guys sorry if this subject has been disscussed already, i tried the search but i wasn't able to find it i had been having this issue for a while and i don't know the reason but eventually when i open wprime (1.55) it "recongnizes" CPUs too fast and when i press run it only takes one thread off full 8 evenb with system not much overclocked, Vista had the issue and one XP (Isi's one) aswell, but my own XP has not the issue and wPrime took all the 8 threads, with same clock speeds this "bug" bothers me so much, any tip??

Has anyone seen this? http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=221773 25 million digits in 8.46 seconds on a 4GHz skulltrail!!! 1 billion digits in 7 minutes and 52 seconds on 2 x 2.80GHz Gainestown!!! - That's almost as fast as the record 32m SuperPi time... Believe it or not, this IS a multithreaded program that will compute Pi. Single threaded, it destroys superpi and is as fast as PiFast. Multi-threaded, it destroys it PiFast. The latest version even has anti-cheat protection and validation. So apparently, Pi CAN be multithreaded.

Hi guys & gals....my first post here on HWbot and I would first like to say hi to everybody and wish them the best in 2009!! I've been lurking for a while and getting my courage and OC skills up a bit and finally started to post some of my initial results. I was just going to move on to Super Pi 1.5 and I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to validate my Super Pi 1.5 scores? I believe I'm entering the times & checksum properly. Any body else having this problem or can offer a solution?? My second problem is this.... Xtremesystems is where I usually hang out but for the last week or so first my post count wasn't going up, then my pas…

Hello guys, just to stay in the same mood... There is a validation number for Wprimes benchmarks, same as super pi. Because of cheating and problems with the validation number of super pi scores, Hwbot asks for big screenshots when we want our scores to be validated. The validation number of Wprimes doesn't give any information about the material used. I think it should be better (more fair play and all that stuff) if Wprimes scores were validated by others informations, such as CPU-Z screenshot (CPU, memory, etc.) as for the others benchmark in fact. What do you think about it?
