  1. yea, bad cpu are a bit of a let down. Can't wait too see what happens and how big the sandbags are, if any.
  2. surprised you got that bios working, I tried that one yesterday and board didn't want to work cold. I ended up having to use an older bios.
  3. Shouldn't be any different than flashing a non msi titan to an nvidia or msi bios. I think the key is not to use an evga epower or something from a "custom" designed card like matrix, classified, etc..

    Ex Tee You!

Only reason people run it is due to the easy globals.
  5. Ticket ID: 1728 Priority: Low http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-Opteron%206378%20-%20OS6378WKTGGHK.html
  6. I was trying to figure this out myself the other day, but got lower scores.
  7. It's simple, you take picture to verify that you used a "stock" titan and you got your best score in and it died while trying to push for more. When you post up good scores and they ask for video verification, it's impossible since your "stock" titan died.
  8. I don't know why this is even in debate. If the hardware for the semi finals is the exact same as in the qualifiers, the answer is clear. It just so happens that the ideal choice in processor to use has changed.
  9. Thanks, Really wish that I could run this chip with higher clocks but it's always something. Asus doesn't like high qpi and slow mode gives terrible score. With X58 classy, areca won't work right when some of the voltages are pushed to make cpu run high. Now I just need to figure out how moose does this dual areca stuff.
  10. GTX 780 is already available. A lightning isn't, but the reference card is.
  11. very nice chip, i killed my "good" sempron, but nowhere near this good
  12. Just wait until i can get some ln2. I haven't had a 960T that didn't give me problems, but should be able to run around 6ghz i'd say. It was nothing but trouble for pcm05.
  13. IMOG went pro just so to help out OCF for the Pro Cup and so that they would have representation. As for my opinion on this, I always liked a single league. I don't see how I can honestly say i'm ranked xx when people are being forced to move the the now non-existent pro league. I'll use myself as an example. I'm currently ranked #2 in the US. I can't honestly think that I'm ranked #2 in the US when there are people in the "pro league" who might be ranked higher. People like vince will be a given that they be ranked higher, but I'd know where I stand. There are quite a few who just do reviews but don't post spectacular scores, maybe I'm ahead of them and maybe I'm not. The same thing would apply to the global rankings. I'm around 20th, but there might be about 50 so called pro's who could be ahead of me. I'd be fine with a rank of 70 instead of 20. I don't need to exclude people to have a higher rank. As for the argument of PCM05, I fall in the same boat. A good majority of my high global scores are from pcm05. The truth is that I enjoy benching and my motivation is the points and rankings. Some might say points is the wrong reason for benching, but when I enjoy benching, it doesn't really matter what I bench, I'm still having a good time. I don't have the hardware to compete with some people and I'm fine with it. It's also odd that Moose insults ronaldo and his countrymen for complaining about certain things and trying to get rules changed to benefit them and then goes to suggest something like this.
