  1. Well, can we prove that someone works for a vendor? If the guy openly admits it, of course, but if not? Plus, working for a vendor doesn't mean that you actually bench engineering samples (you probably have access, but that's a different story).
  2. I don't know details regarding the way Viss and others bin CPUs, but say you do get to bin 200 CPUs and buy only two of them - that's obviously a good reason to force that someone to go to the pro league. The problem is not be the two chips that are paid for, but the 198 that were tested for free... I don't see any good reason why we force people who work for vendors to go "pro" when you can have unlimited access to a goddamn warehouse and still be in the OC league. it makes NO sense at all. The pro league is there for people who get lots of HW support. There is a fine line drawn, as we don't want to force those who get a sample or two a year to go pro. That's alot different than receiving dozens of parts. If this is thought of as OK by users and moderators/admins, then we should remove the pro league, as it has no function at all - it's just the OC league all over again, but with fewer members.
  3. I guess people must be crazy if they don't expect to wait one week longer than promised for stuff to be shipped. Any decent seller would apologize instead of attack in a situation like this... just my 2 cents. Not to mention give a final date for the stuff to be shipped, and actually keep that promise.
  4. +1 to the above post. I don't know enough to tell if this is OK or not, though. ...although, if you want to hack something useful - try to fix the grammar test in pcmark04:D

  7. When you start benching a Presler chip in 2012 and actually feel excited.
  8. I don't look at the scores, I solely look at card clocks. That's what this discussion is partially about. I wonder where you draw the line of this "x vs known overclocker"-thing I think you're talking about. Some people will probably pot Ramiro himself in category "x", at least before this discussion. Unless you're looking at extreme differences (like kingpin vs random guy with 2 submissions), it's hard to really tell who is just another mr x and who is not:)
  9. I like the first suggestion. If you can't tell LN2 from air clocks, then why have separate categories at all? Poparamiro has defined a new limit of air cooling, and the conclusion can only be that LN2 doesn't give such a huge advantage after all - if you do the mods correctly.
  10. Should be a 210e and not 910e (seen this before, but forgot to buy it then:D)
  11. Ticket ID: 1510 Priority: Low Found a pair of weird engineering samples again... this time 1st gen Phenom. This one has a stock speed of 1.6GHz:\r\n\r\nhttp://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2350475\r\n\r\nIf you follow the naming scheme from the 9000 series it\'s a Phenom X4 8900 (100Mhz pr 100 lower rating, 9100 runs at 1800MHz).
  12. Ticket ID: 1508 Priority: Low You know what to do 2.5 and 2.6ghz stock speeds, unlocked MP. I think you could also rename 915 BE to either 615 BE or 620 BE, as I\'m quite sure I requested it, but i only have TWO \"real\" Phenom ES\'s, a 910 and a 945 (both BE, they\'re already added).\r\n\r\nPlease hurry, I\'m submitting
  13. You didn't post anything out of line. And I forgot to check just after midnight as well:p I'd also like to add that asking questions about a score is perfectly fine. Anyone posting "insane" numbers should know that what they do WILL be questioned at some point. It's how it SHOULD work - if someone posts a G80 sub with 3GHz core frequency and no-one raise an eyebrow over that, then something would be horribly wrong with the whole community...
  14. if I have access to the ban button I'll make sure you guys will get a nice holiday unless the crap talking parts are edited out by the owners before midnight my time (~1h20min from now). have a nice evening:) One of you is DEFINATELY in the danger zone... you know who you are.
  15. I dont think its difficult at all, I know I did it on a DFi NF3 a few years ago. http://awdbedit.sourceforge.net/
  16. You do know you'll win a kit from YET ANOTHER G.SKILL LINEUP if you get the WR??
  17. I was running a daily driver caseless under my desk, and one day the mobo died... reason: it was all covered in chocolate and stuff from chocolate chip cookies i used to eat a bit too often. I also had a tea-accident many years ago, knocked it over my case (I did use cases once upon a time!!! i know you don't believe me, but it's true!). Nothing DIED, but I used to much sugar in the damn tea that the DVD-rom tray got stuck. This probably isn't a unique happening, but i'm still FIRST!
  18. The 5600 sticks are 2T rated as well. I have the 5000 DFI edition sticks here:p
  19. If your wife can't stand your hobbies, you picked the wrong wife. Simple as that:D It's called wife binning.
  20. Just remember it's still an Ultra, not a GTX:)
  21. I can see the xp startup score because of the ORB link, but it's common to include the upper part of the subtests in the screenshots instead of starting at web page rendering. If FM retires the ORB at some point, this score could get pulled, as the XP startup is kinda important. Just a heads up And nice score!
