  1. BeepBeep? Wasn't that guy like 14 or something?
  2. Lol, my socket 1207 board is a socket 1198 atm Everything works, except pcmark vantage and 7:p
  3. I was thinking about Fredyama too, he must be 60+, no?
  4. Blah blah We both know it's the active users thingy that matters in terms of popularity:D
  5. I think the last peak has something to do with it, the number of users didn't increase, but the amount of subs did. It's about 580 vs 320, I think - Feb. and Jan. I posted 227 PCMark05 subs, so...
  6. Very nice way of making sure you won't get any "goodwill" from us:)
  7. Could this be related to my submission spree? I bet I had like 150 PCMark05 subs:p
  8. I think there should be separate achievements for separate leagues, so I agree.
  9. The PCMark series is most of all a set of 2D benchmarks, so they're classified as CPU benchmarks, and therefore GPUs can be shared. SSD sharing is still allowed, and if we decide something else, then you will be notified I agree that it's a bit difficult to draw the line in some cases (storage for PCmarks, CPU for 01 etc)
  10. ...when you take the subway home from uni and bring a full dewar with you as if it was completely normal
  11. ...when you explain to your friends that the toilet paper you keep in your bedroom is for cleaning CPUs, and they believe you.
  12. It could be worth it to invest in something like a SS, then - I don't know IB, but SB didn't need more than for high speeds.
  13. Quite possibly the chip. My FX60 wont run below -27c Not HTT issues or something, it just freaks out.
  14. Not sure if we could offer some sort of advertizing in return? Maybe that helps.
  15. We have AGA. And i've heard the rates are now $10/L:p
  16. http://hwbot.org/league/oc/ - ths is the league for non-sponsored guys. You don't get alot of free hardware+ Don't look at the pro league, it's not meant to be competitive for average Joe overclockers:D
  17. The "andre yang" complaint isn't valid, as there are two leagues - the pro league is for people like Andre, if you play in that league you do it either because you asked for it yourself, OR because you have sponsors. The regular LN2 guys fight in the Extreme league. I think rev. 3 had too much focus on single card benching. That's just my point of view. I'm happy with the change, as it gives people more options, instead of it being like you HAVE to focus on all benchmarks in singlecard to be able to compete at all. Yes, you probably need to have a slightly bigger budget now than before, but there are plenty of options if you want to run just one card + 2D. Plus, we allow CPU sharing for 3D, so it's perfectly possible for a team to save some cash that way.
  18. I'm not sure if this applies to everyone in here, we don't have Linde at least. AL I don't know.
  19. 2x GPU isn't that out of reach either, 4-way I can imagine is hard (I don't even have cash for 2-way myself). The big boints are in single-GPU rankings, with the exception of the WR bonus, which is only huge for the first few entries anyway. And if you have a good CPU (which you need to be able to compete in any 3D benchmark), it will give you loads of globals points in the 2D rankings, so you have plenty of options. You can also try to beat some more low cost rankings, like wprime 1x-3x.
  20. Yes. It's not that hard to follow the instructions - even if you change log off to switch user for example. We're missing a small detail of some sort...
  21. Well, it was even worse when we only had those non-felxible ones I guess. Still, a shame they didn't make the 0.5cm longer, although the bridges DO work with such setups in most cases.
