HWBOT 3DMARK LEGACIES RULES DISCUSSION THREAD
Leeghoofd replied to Leeghoofd's topic in Benchmark Rules
If the score is linked to a competition, the rules will still be there... no worries. I have a changelog of all benchmarks , regarding these things, verification link, systeminfo, CPUZ, ... If you guys host a competition it will clearly stated it's with YOUR specific rules, not HWBOT's... -
HWBOT 3DMARK LEGACIES RULES DISCUSSION THREAD
Leeghoofd replied to Leeghoofd's topic in Benchmark Rules
Well the benchmark runs, but the perf is a bit off versus older systeminfo's,... Rules will always adapt to whatever it is needed to make is as simple and secure possible. It's impossible to make rules that serve all platforms without having a side effect on something. They are as simplified as possible now, taking into account security and validity on UL. If we have to exclude Socket939, it will be tomorrow the AGP guys that have an issue somewhere. It will never be suitable for everybody Scotty Anyway if you guys want to host a old school compo you can set CPUZ and GPUz, Systeminfo stuff yourselves in the competition rules. -
This APP will be blocked in the near future as noone is taking care anymore of the HWBot Android prime app. We have over 10K unknown smart devices in the Database and the list is growing each day...

HWBOT 3DMARK LEGACIES RULES DISCUSSION THREAD
Leeghoofd replied to Leeghoofd's topic in Benchmark Rules
Sure, but whats the aim of the game, to go head to head with other 939 users ? I fail to see the reason why we should make rules again more complicated because users want to bench Vantage on a non optimal platform. -

K, but why would you use a 939 platform to bench Vantage? -
HWBOT 3DMARK LEGACIES RULES DISCUSSION THREAD

If its PCIe and DDR4 I think there's plenty of subplatform power to make up for the point loss. Now for 05-06 a link is required only for Global top 20 (There's no mention of Systeminfo for the older legacies) Only for Vantage and 11 we require a link and an updated Systeminfo, is that a problem? -
yes I asked the changes so the moderators and database pĂȘopel can add it

I would sincerely ask you to tone down Yosi, show some respect. The latest Cat version (ver 2.0) runs pretty smooth in my book. And about the glitching, that in my book is usually user imposed, the same that happened with many other benchmarks. We rate them unsafe, glitchable,... the problem is many times in the chair, not in the computer... If you want to debate, do it at an adult manner and drop the cocky attitude...

we pulled the GPUPIs apart, however the coder didn't give other Hex keys to the datafile so 3.3s are always submitted in the wrong category. This has been added to the rules to submit manually if you want to submit a 3.3 score. GPUPI4.0 is around the corner and will get proper implementation to the HWBOT api

Just propose it in the 3D thread Ronaldo. This thread is about the rules... Users found GPU1B too fast, (yes you can claim +3GHz core clocks) Users nearly crucified me for wanting to introduce Catzilla 4K, but I'll leave it up to you to persuade them to reconsider

Taichi board is added, FTW3 and such has to be hardcoded, we can't add that ourselves, has to be done via the coder

No problem with gpuz here. Which forum are you referring too?

I'll adapt it to win7 and older.

Tibom2000 - Ryzen 7 1700X @ 4250MHz - 99999 marks Cinebench - R20
Leeghoofd replied to keeph8n's topic in Result Discussions
Thx all for reporting, score is trimmed down to 999 now, so points should be back to be normal...
