Even though I love running 2.5V+ through DDR3, I don't think that MaxxMem in its current form should be worth points.
IMO, for benchmark to be able to recieve points it must scale logically and be completely bug-free ... which MaxxMem isn't.
Tune the clock generator settings in SetFSB so that you go by 0.4MHz FSB and do the switches real slow (once per 20-30s). Yes, it eats LN2 but that's just how this CPU works best. I can't remember having it past 8120MHz using >10MHz steps.
you should have tuned the SetFSB for smaller steps, this chip doesn't like when you change freq by more than 10MHz at one time
still, nice to know that the validation is not corrupt
I would disagree with you there ... I can't see air/watercooled scores dominating 6xxx/7xxx categories.And with those weak cards there is very little CPU dependancy, so every GFX MHz counts.
