Intel's XTU analyzed (and it's not looking good)
speed.fastest replied to _mat_'s topic in Intel XTU HWBOT Integration
XTU actually is fun to bench, only if it support AMD and not only 2 seconds count for scoring. There is still no successor for SuperPi 32m for new platform, proper multithreaded & memory scales a lot! I only think is 3DMark11 Physics is only option for now to replace SuperPi 32m. And please dont do this unless you submit this to their developer only, so xoc is not dead. We dont know this if someone not publicing this. I respect your good job still! -
Crosshair VI hero max mem clock?
speed.fastest replied to subaruwrc's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
Yes this platform allowing you to adjust subtiming, and with b die a1 pcb no slow POST on my case. -

Crosshair VI hero max mem clock?
speed.fastest replied to subaruwrc's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
That is true, but Crosshair VII Hero is just stronger on memory like how Maximus IX Apex vs Maximus VIII Impact was, im done binning Crosshair VI Hero too. Just FYI, on AMD Rock Tour Competition here someone doing 4000 memory clock just on air which is almost impossible doing that on air on Crosshair VI Hero, even under cold (controlled cpu temp) i only can boot 3866 and with turbo vcore adjust it to 4000 on os with Crosshair VI Hero. -
You can see memory score and check valid url link here http://hwbot.org/submission/4014009_ Multicore Memory 9943 with only 6 core cpu

Crosshair VI hero max mem clock?
speed.fastest replied to subaruwrc's topic in Memory Heaven (air/extreme)
Max memclock should do more than this, but benchable memory clock is lower on Crosshair VI vs Crosshair VII for example. -

Good job, massive ahead! -
Somehow i only have this platform and 775 DDR3, and still have Maximus IX Apex but dont have the cpu. Always nice to bench 32m on every platform with different behaviour. Not sure, but it will blue screen probably some ACPI related or something i dont know.

Not support xp except kaby lake x

Today im trying Core i7 7800X with Asus Rampage VI Apex on SuperPi 32M, it looks like fun, doing first run without waza, but not finished. Will be doing more test probably.

dont have it from probably 2014, but i remember board performance behaving like that, would like to join this, but i need some time to keep money to buy it

Wow, 500ms is alot! That awesome! And is someone here try Samsung (HYK0/HCH9/G-Die) on Crosshair V with Thuban? It can be awesome if it can run high frequency on Thuban, as we know samsung easier on imc than PSC/Hyper.
-
That is probably right, CH5 tuned for very high memory frequency, if your memory can run say 2200-2666 CH5 will run easier than other board. Generally 790FX will be faster than 890FX than 990FX at lower memory clock, but this is more from bios tuning, not the chipset. This what i got from my old AM3/AM3+ platform.
