Went to hook up the PCI extender with Gemini Fast base for a pot for a final run and as soon as I booted up, there was smoke and spark from the slot or the riser, I couldn't tell. Card, riser, or slot is dead, hopefully nothing else, so much fail

I ran with W7 and the score was much higher but I could not achieve the same clocks. 6.0Ghz would keep turning off while 6.2 in XP was running smoothly, so weird.

^Pretty sure everything is done tweak wise, LOD, D3D, Inspector settings, OC Tweak in bios. I have a pot mounted to the other 580 but refuse to start with such shit efficiency. I have tried input from as little as 2.04v to 2.7v with no difference. Maybe memory is too tight? I doubt it because the same settings have passed XTU lol I also just ran 03 in W7 x64 just now and scored 120k, help me figure this bunny out guys...

^Don't think so because this sub was from a while ago, while this was from earlier tonight. . . 5Ghz look about right? Seems a bit low to me, and the scaling from 5Ghz to 6.2Ghz is not right. I have been trying a number of different different things and nothing seems to help.

I have all ready reported two users with 2011 times that were not possible Varachio, and believe me that time is not possible with said os, timings, clocks. . .

All of the cpu's I have tested will run 2850+ on air no problem, cold was for the Cloudgate stage.

Agreed need some pretty good kits, I have 16 dimms to retest one by one after Country Cup. On Haswell the best Dom Plats, need 2.00v to run 2872 9-12-12-16 with everything yoked out. Due to the nature of Ivy E's IMC, I feel that it is much easier to run higher clocks, even in quad channel because it is not nearly as stressful as Haswell on the ram.
