  1. Just testing the 890fx UD5 with PSC air and 1090t on SS ....I run this board up with cold PSC, should go nice
  2. Sure, you can freeze B.die....benches require a specific temp....because of cb.... memory Mhz , timing and rtls can tighten as well Will post some results of this when I have gear
  3. Looks like you have alot of screen shots within your screen shot lol, looks like some of my screens shots from testing lol Nice job man, good to see you posting again
  4. Yeah, couple things Ive notice on both boards 890- ud7 and 990- ud3 is on all cpus if im pushing around 940 memory and big NB freq along with high cpu-NB volts I have CB -160 and sometimes loose channel "lost channel mainly on ud7". Just dropping cpu-NB volts down a little when this happens I can the go full pot Some cpus are worse then others
  5. Oh I understand now, it makes sense why those ones would be slower then...thanks
  6. It does have uefi option in bios, I seen it...I've not touched it.This is little new to me, if it has that option in bios is it a uefi board? I'm at work now so can't look at it to post a pic, when home I'll look again to be sure....unless you know what it is? Yeah 890 seems good, thanks mate.....I'll run it up again on my 890 ud7 soon
  7. Tested a 960T and 990Fx UD3 tonight, cpu SS only about -25 because no Paste lol....is why couldn't get any higher NB Freq. Hypers @1.85v...will run this again later on the 890FX UD7 This board is rev 1.1
  8. Thanks for the kind words @I.nfraR.ed hope to see you benching amd soon also
  9. You should do it Speed, its slow but same for everyone lol Its also cheap is what I like ahah
  10. @websmile This is a pic of them, ive not taken HS of yet.....They are KO 8155 as you prob know
  11. Oh think I seen them posted around once before
  12. Bit of both, that imc not the greatest and I dont see real big gain dropping lower then what I am, so I rather the extra MHz over dropping them little more Even when I can drop down to the "11" it's worse for me, or not worth it, I try to use all that I see as a guide only and run what is faster for me. Was like haswell how some others see gains in couple of tighter subs , I didn't. I found the same with PSC on sandy and ivy, below tras 21, like 18 was bad for me Ran this one much the same tho little more mem MHz .Its the only really hyper I've tested or used, so I can't compare mem
  13. Oh the ripjawZ kit was 11 trp , yeah I hear you on too expensive....was looking at the new asus gene here in AU, preorder it's $600 aud. Think I'll just put a z370 apex with a 9900k ahah
  14. Yeah the amd Thuban seems ok with them were thuban likes 2000mhz+ but yeah limited from loose trcd, so need the higher freq MHz to keep up with hypers yeah I've never tried the 2400 c8...these were retail or not?
  15. Hey mate, I'll take a pic of them after work and post up...they seem to work ok on other platforms too like amd. Did these only come as a dual kits or was there some triple kits released too ?
  16. Hey , i just hold the ss on the CPU unto the ss gets cold and then once frozen the paste will hold the ss to the CPU ahah I ran a quick 1366 with my x5650 and psc air 40.9xx 6-9-6 2000 think it was, little more fine tune psc may do 39s air.Would need cold on the psc to go lower.....I'll post the screen up later trying to get some more hypers as I only have two
  17. Some PSC I bough little while ago, never tried these before...they seem to max out at 1.89v that's not the best sign for cold. I might test them cold on another platform Just a stabilty test no waza and had most things open while running GSkill Pi 2400Mhz 9-11-9 kit
