  1. I think along with Deneb the unlockable heka and callisto named cores should also be allowed because when unlocked they are full quad cores with 6MB L3. Edit: maybe allow unlocked propus as well if it's lucky enough to get full functioning L3.

    790 boards

    no probs

    790 boards

I do have a GA-MA770-S3P that I was keeping for running Thubans with DDR2 (since the DFI FXB boards are a bust with hex cores) but if you really want it I'd sell it to you.

    790 boards

any interest in DDR3 boards? Like the GA-790XTA-UD4
  5. the Prepopulate option usually does not work for competition entires.
  6. As it stands now with the scores entered after November 2nd removed yet the competition ranking shows as if the scores are still in the comp even though they are not seen in the individual stages. Please resolve.
  7. Are you sure? Skylake, Kaby Lake and presumably Coffelake refresh are all "Allowed" although the OS Benchmark table is ambiguous as there is crossover between "Desktops and laptops with bus tuning capabilities" and "Skylake Kaby Lake". Also, the lInk if required doesn't have to be VALID for general rankings, just validated at 3DMark.com however competitions often call for a VALID link.
  8. @Leeghoofd for the CPU clock limited Sky Diver stage are you going to stipulate that HWiNFO is used to monitor the clocks during the benchmark run? As of now there is no mention of monitoring clocks.
  9. @1BadMoJoe did you not read the reply from the creator of BenchMate in the very next post you quoted? BenchMate can be found at https://benchmate.org/
  10. nah, cups and medals
  11. Other because you forgot the "for the cups and medals" option
  12. Yep, Intel started nailing the coffin of overclocking with the invention of the pay to play K sku CPUs
  13. VID is what the CPU asks for vCore will be what the board is supplying. You can always drop the CPU-NB volts and see when it stops posting. CPU-NB multiplier is whole numbers so to get in between you'll need to give the Bus Speed more MHz. Edit: you can run Cinebench with relatime priority and it sometimes results in beter scores. Also note you need to be on Windows 10 unless you're using BenchMate
  14. Meh if they ditch 3 and 4 then oh well. 5 should be cut pronto though.
  15. Well, I'd hope so otherwise what would be the point of competitive overclocking? Give it 1.35v and see.
  16. yeah ditch the Geekbenches. At least Geekbench 5.
  17. You might want to re-acquaint yourself with the rules especially for Cinebench. (Hint: show the full rendered image and a full uncropped desktop including the clock)
  18. My daily is running 1.35v for the CPU-NB VID at 2733MHz. CPU is at 20.5 x 228 for 4668MHz. I didn't have a CB 2003 score so I chucked one up just now at full bloat with stuff runnng in the background. Nothing to write home about: 4265317_cbjaust_cinebench___2003_fx_8350_2547_points/
  19. You might get some benefit with more CPU-NB, 2500MHz is probably doable.
  20. is there any commonality with KT266 and KT400? I have a KT266 PCR file but I'm sure you'd have it too.
  21. Memory can have a lot to do with stability. My cooling was just a Thermalright TRUE Black with one or maybe two fans push-pull. Is the FX-8300 Bulldozer? If so it will not clock quite as well as Vishera. No probs, ask away. Edit: nevermind, FX-8300 is Vishera
  22. My FX-8350 at 4888MHz - 784cb and 1509 in R20 at 4503MHz
  23. The other scores you see with higher numbers are the other versions of cinebench - R15 and R20 and the older one Cinebench 2003 but all those versions give the score in "cb" not "pts". Hwbot is only concerned with the CPU score from Cinebench. The OpenGL scores are a GPU test. Vishera was fine. My daily is an FX-8350 still.
