Haha yes; didnt bother with it since globals were removed from 01 but eventually had to give it a go bit unfair for the rest of the scores don't you thing? yes; that was after losing a good 50-100 mhz on the gpu and without ideal effi (compared to what we saw during better runs). There should be another 2-3k in it. -

Use the guide here + Asmedia sata ports and you should be fine. Both XP.iso and XP64.iso on gdrive work on Z790 so you can have one usb from which you can install both. -

Since sharing is caring; uploaded both XP32B and 64Bit on gdrive. Acpi modded by Dietmar of msfn.org You might need to repaste the acpi.sys in system32/drivers after install Enjoy! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1m3X7Y2AgGZzbBQEdE4uPZ1yuM8WRLLtf?usp=share_link- 160 replies

Sick stuff. Might put the titans on ln2 once we get a better cpu -
Exactly; thats why aside of the min (momentarily log) you can actually compare the scene average I believe which should be a better indicator due to its duration. Each scene takes a few seconds and the average on ours is 221.7 FPS while Rauf's is 222.03. Thats for scene 14. Now, on your sub, avg fps on scene 16 are: 282.4 (360.7 max). Ours is 208 avg (max 236) and rauf's 209 avg (238.9 max). Yours got 35% higher average for this scene vs the current #1 and 51% increase over max fps. How does this make sense to you? Because the overall impact is not that high (1 out of 17 scenes), does this mean that it isn't bugged?

you are focusing on ECC on/off while the main thing is that your score is bugged. Same case/criteria you started this thread against others' scores/subs on the very first post of this thread. Even wrote "2. If you are "unsure" then ask a mod or even me if it seems out of line. It is quite easy to read. " Probably you missed your own memo here. Now, regarding the sitting on locked rankings, I don't think that is on us. We flagged it and provided as much info as early as possible to get this fixed. You are in a position where you bought a gpu to bench (hopefully by worth you don't actually mean what you paid :)) ) while knowing that the rules are in the state they are. Totally your option/choice. We spent more than 300L on benching 4090 (1 L of ln2 costs 15 USD in some countries) and will most likely need to do that again to re-bench everything even though our scores are legit/in-line (recorded video for most of them).

I think you are deflecting a bit here. 1st post on this thread, you go in as the authority setting up the steps of punishment for those who got bugged scores either intentionally or unintentionally. Now, you didn't just post an ECC Off score which is against the rules (temporary or not) but actually a bugged one. So much for "We need to be better users." (2nd line of your post). Basically, since its taking time to make a decision (agreed; it takes too long and we also want to rebench ) it made sense to post a bugged score (enter rhetorical questionmark) PS. About the courtesy of knowing. Changes that affect a big part of bot should be treated with the appropriate respect and be rolled out with an actual public-official notice. IIIRC, it was during the 3rd week of December (basically end of the season) when the multi-gpu (3090) legacy scores were pulled without notice and lack of an official statement. Just based on some comments/discussions that took place back in June.

Actually spent enough time comparing ECC on vs ECC off on multiple benchmarks and already provided input I believe to both the mod team and FM last year (25th of November to be precise). So there is an understanding of the actual impact of the perf loss from our end. To my understanding, old scores that seem to be in-line have remained till a decision is made. In between, the shift on ECC has been made to avoid additional bugged runs + have it as a testing to better identify what the best outcome would be. But hey, thats up to the mods to elaborate on. From our end, we have already communicated that if ECC On solves it (even with perf penalty as long as it applies to all and solves the issue) we are totally fine on having our scores removed as long as we are given a notice in advance allowing us to rebench with ECC On. That has been our only request so we don't wake up one day with the need to rebench everything overnight.
