  1. Hope mine will be better then.
  2. Anyone tried 2x8 RipjawsV 3600C17? I took a kit hoping to find B-die that flies. I should have it next Tuesday.
  3. Frozen impact, yummy! Strong run, let the backup war begin!
  4. Then it's more affordable
  5. I would argue - if shipping is 50$, maybe it's a deal for US guys, but for 85 shipped, I'd rather pay extra few euro and have stuff from Roman/caseking in less than a week than wait for weeks for delivery. Anyway, multiple sources are good thing
  6. Not really, yesterday I made 5000 points with i3 6320 at 4650 MHz completely legit, no lasso needed.
  7. No time extension thanks for a good fight, I learned a lot
  8. Just tested F6k for Z170 SOC Force and it has non-K OC locked
  9. Things changed a bit in the meantime - it's delidded with DDM and tested on LN2, 5950 1M, 5700 R15, but it is a bit picky with PSC. PM me if still interested
  10. Just checking - any progress on that?
  11. Thanks, I'll rebench with SS as I ran out of LN2, will be an improvement anyway
  12. Anyone had "unable to parse datafile" in AM3 with i3? I suspect that running 4 dimms is the case here, I noticed that AM3 wrapper shows "16 GB <OUT OF SPEC> DIMM". Funny, because with 2 dimms it showed "Unknown Unknown" properly. I take it that workaround is system info disabled but anyway it would be pity if I had to use backup that's more than 50k worse
  13. keep pushing, can't wait to see sub 5
  14. I think I fried my Impact, after last LN2 session it doesn't want to OC anymore - if I change settings from CMOS default eventually I get 41 code which afterwards is followed by 00 code with fans at 100%, after clear CMOS it boots (on stock ofc). Also the settings (multi, BCLK, voltages) I input in BIOS are not applied - everything runs on auto. @websmile gave me an idea that maybe MEI could be the issue here, and it might be back to normal if I could recover it. But no idea how to do it. I already tried flashing BIOSes 0205, 1302, 0002, 0014 - without success (with EZFlash or using USB Flashback). Rest of components - CPU, RAM, GPU - are OK, tested and working in GB Z170x SOCF. I also cleaned the CPU socket, checked that pins are OK, and checked RAM slots.
  15. I have on my benchtable GB Z170X SOC Force, had both OCF and Impact previously. I can compare directly OC of my kit of RipjawsV 3200C16, which do 3733C12 with 1.85 vmem with my 6600k on both OCF and Impact easily with tight secondary and third timings, while on GB they don't post higher than 3333C14 no matter what voltage or subtimings. Tried that on BIOSes F5 and F6h. I also tried AFR (Fury Black 2666C15) but they didn't go higher then 3100C12, higher frequencies = no boot. Main question - is it me or the board?
  16. I like the "verstehen?" part
  17. and what cooling, all air?
  18. RULE has Geils 4000 19-25, those are B-die too -> http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=150552
  19. Breakthrough! strong run, don't keep backups if you have them
  20. is there a converter from 775 to 478?
  21. Clear for me, going to look for mobo/CPU
  22. Clock limit in XTU is 5000, while in other two stages is 5003, is it inconsistent by design? Also HT is not mentioned, so I take it i5 competes with i7 here and loses.
