Still happening for me I think it's my PC, not an actual HWBot issue.
-
For me, the forum works & loads quickly and without problems but the main site.....all results pages load slowly and cause FF to hang for a few seconds for EVERY PAGE. Checking a leaderboard takes minutes, not seconds What plugins etc does HWB use? Cookie clearance doesn't help.

I definitely had OCP problems. I had shutdown via GDDR MHz. I *think* I did the IMAX mod and it wasn't reacting the way I wanted....but it was years ago. I have a long-ass list of things needing probed and soldered, I will look at it again eventually I don't remember having any vCore problems on either card, nor CBB once modded. Thankfully, the 470 and 480 SOC do not behave like '460 SOC. Benching a '460 SOC well should result in a certificate. All new LN2 benchers should try one, good experience for the future
-
Use the x80 SOC BIOS Did you get around the OCP for the GDDR on the '470?

If there's ANY doubt in your mind, please ask for this to be deleted. Posting up voltmods that you've not used yourself is fucking retarded. Especially for an £1100 GPU.

I LOVE Hybrid Salt and Original Sin are amazing Massive Attack's "Ritual Spirit" has one of the eeriest, most moving basslines i've ever heard. Droning never sounded so good

For the Coldslow/coldbug? Sure. It's easy. Accept it and work within it. Enjoy not having to worry about frost. Everyone is on a level playing field because even after all this time, no-one has found a workaround. Even if you solve it, it will become an arms race at -80 or -120 or -160 and then the leaderboard will re-balance when all the usual names have re-benched. The limit will then become the architecture or someone's use/non-use of e-Power etc. There will always be limits. -40 is a convenient one that allows more people to compete. G92 and -40 can be approached by people with SS or a good (bad) winter.

People are making this complicated for no good reason

Tested on Asus P5E3 Premium at mild volts. I fully expect these to perform better at full benching voltages. ONLY tested for POST, with the exception of the E8400s (read below) I tested in steps of 5, so e.g. "555" means that 560FSB didn't POST. Chips: E6320: 555 E2140: 455 E2160: 450, 455 E2180 460, 465, 465 E4600: 435 The above are all 4 for £10 E6300: 550, 555 E6400: 545 These are £6 each E8400. I benched wPrime (2 cores enabled!) at 4.6GHz on average air, then tuned for voltage. 1.40v: 12 chips available £6 each 1.375v: 5 chips available. £8 each Pic: 100% of sale (minus shipping) goes to a local electronics recycling charity. (that's where all these CPUs came from)

"You just s*** in the toilet. Congratulations" Life goals right there.

A disproportionate % of phase builders who tried to "go commercial" and "started out" on XS, had everything fall apart or slowly descended into scamming people.

What a mess of a situation Has everyone heard of "The XS phase jinx?"

Revision of rules for hw-sharing?
K404 replied to Rauf's topic in HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions
This and nothing else. It's been discussed before. Do I do it? Nope. Do I approve of it or like it? Nope. Do I encourage it? Nope. Can I do anything about it? Not really. I can try to be a good influence, but the moral/ethical high ground is a hard sell sometimes. -
Welcome to HWBot! Something important to say.... whichever benchmark you want to run, please check HWBot rules for the resolution that the benchmark must run at. If your monitor can only support 1024x768 and you want to run, for example, 3DMark06 at 1280x1024 or a newer benchmark, please make sure the benchmark runs at its default resolution and you do not adjust the resolution down so your monitor can show it. You might not see the FPS because that info "disappears" off the bottom of the screen Please read the rules and ask any questions before you start benching.... it is better than getting a score that makes you happy, then finding out that it doesn't fit the rules. Have fun!

Thankyou At least one more with GDDR3. Still to track it down on Ebay. You might need to edit category titles to include # CUDA cores in the future There are more, once all DDR2 options are covered but someone else can find those. I don't bench DDR2 on PCI-E cards, I have to draw the line somewhere
