Update, looks like 1633 FCLK full pot is also a go. https://hwbot.org/submission/4324190_karta_superpi___32m_ryzen_9_3900x_5min_58sec_509ms Save this from life in a gamer and someone use it for the right reasons.

Special memory timings -
I am done on this for now. No real plans to re-bench now that I have made the 6 minute mark. I’m sure you can improve in time with those clocks available. On the fence to re-do the 2700X now with the little LN2 I have remaining. I have some pretesting screens to share when my headache eases. Anyone with a chip capable of 5.8G and over 1500fclk should be able to achieve 6 minutes with the right setup.
-
Had a chance today with what LN2 I had left. Took a good 30L in total just today. So many runs just short of the 6 minute mark for so long, its awesome to have actually done it now. Sorry Max, got past you. https://hwbot.org/submission/4324190_karta_superpi___32m_ryzen_9_3900x_5min_58sec_509ms

I just wish I had more chips and LN2 at my disposal. very much a fun platform to try and tweak. I wouldn’t call myself a master, more luck than anything. The days lost testing this stuff is insane for a person without a clue on how to tweak an OS. It’s all a guessing game on my end.
-
Man. Them clocks will do it. 5.75g I think is possible, but my chip won’t do it reliably for me. 5.8g I would have been there last year. Going back to 2700x to see if I can get in the bracket, but it’s not looking promising at this stage still. I just can’t find the efficiency
-
Do you need same cpus on different boards, or just different cpus. I have a 2700x in the Impact 8 currently if that’s of any assistance?
-
It should work if you set fclk = to mem clock , so 1600fclk to 3200mem alternatively, there is a setting in the AMD menus to fix FCLK/UCLK 1:1. I think if training isn’t correct it will reduce UCLK to aid.
-
Price drop. For anyone that’s tried these on cold, will know how hard it is to find a good one that has good FCLK and CB free.

Hey all, first time listing on here so go easy. Selling my 3900X, achieved all the goals I wanted to with this cracker, and want it to go to someone else that will appreciate it for what it is. 5575 wprime - https://hwbot.org/submission/4318367_karta_wprime___1024m_ryzen_9_3900x_35sec_758ms 5550 R15 - https://hwbot.org/submission/4288250_karta_cinebench___r15_ryzen_9_3900x_4431_cb 5550 R11.5 - https://hwbot.org/submission/4288238_karta_cinebench___r11.5_ryzen_9_3900x_48.43_points 5725 single core, can occasionally see 5750 on one core with a perfect mount - https://hwbot.org/submission/4316105_karta_superpi___32m_ryzen_9_3900x_6min_0sec_115ms 5500 X265 1080p - https://hwbot.org/submission/4312276_karta_hwbot_x265_benchmark___1080p_ryzen_9_3900x_133.216_fps 5500 X265 4k - https://hwbot.org/submission/4318378_karta_hwbot_x265_benchmark___4k_ryzen_9_3900x_32.713_fps/ 1600FCLK/4400memory no CB possible as seen above. Welcome to the world of enthusiast. I went through that, and I’m in an area that is usually over 10deg for 95% of the year, with usual daily temps between 25-38 for the rest of the year. if you feel that way now, you have 2 options, get good at cheating the system, or if you have any ethics, move to apprentice and don’t give any more care or attention to enthusiast. unless there is a field to fill out for ambient temperature for every submission, nothing will change and the database will forever be skewed by these results.

would only making a seasonal ranking based on any competition points be the best answer??? This would completely rule out this rule bending. Also, is there a way we can back track to see our final standings for last year, I wanna stroke my ego and go chasing sponsors.

Ha, there is known good batches for these CPUs?? Think I went through over 80 CPU's last year, and picked the 6th best i tested on water on the REX. CPU Batch Q930A407. This one did the above FSB, have another that will do 32m 6G on the Rampage from the same batch. Both tested similar on the Rampage on water, this one CB at -132, the other I was able to go -150 on the Rampage. For NB, I still have the pot mounted, when I pull it all down, I'll grab whatever numbers I can off it. Want to have one more go with another chip with what little LN2 I have left. Would be nice to even get a score in pi or something off too. -

To save anyone else asking. Here is a google drive link. May or may not last forever. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1L1j35StGXr_igxuaD56uiM6cFca_6BxE Please thank below if you grab so I know who still loves these boards. Not sure the bios I used was any different to the F5i on there, but it may help some of you. -

I’ll upload and send you a link. In all honesty though. I saw no difference between this bios and the later ones for FSB. Haven’t checked anything mem related yet, board is trash when NB isn’t cold (won’t boot over 580fsb). Not sure I have any have some average D9 dimms here but didn’t try them. You know. Drink too much, grab wrong CPU, get the worst mount possible. Start again next day same chip, get voltages spot on, temps perfect (ie, NB not cracked) and boom. -

Maybe I should try the other 5 better chips now :D -
All I can do guys. Need a better chip to break the 6 minute mark. I have no energy left now, or LN2 for a long time. 5775 cpu would do it, or one that can reliably repeat 5750, but I can't any longer. 5750 cpu, 3200C10-10-10 / 1600 FCLK https://hwbot.org/submission/4316105_ Have fun.

Played some more today. No screens yet as still testing. 3133C10 mem/ 1566flck I got the following 8m20.900 - 4000Mhz - 500.900 7m58.404 - 4200Mhz - 478.404 7m38.716 - 4400Mhz - 458.716 7m30.896 - 4500mhz - 450.896 4600 not exact Scaling really tapers bad as clock speed increases. From 4.4g to 4.5g there is only 7.9s compared to 11s /100mhz average from 4g-4.2g This is why when we reach over 5.4g the scores just seem to stop dead. Still trying to find a work around to help though. Even though this is roughly 4 seconds faster efficiency at 4g, it will likely only translate to 0.5sec at flat out Would love to try my old 2700x again with this current efficiency as I feel it could be faster in the top end vs the 3900X. No way I’ll get it out of the wife’s daily and have my life in tact afterward.
