Yes, it is still banned. But for some applications, it is allowed to use Windows 8/8.1. non-overclockable notebooks may be used in combination with Windows 8 3DMark and PCMark runs on Windows 8 if an ORB Link is included, and SystemInfo 4.20 (unofficial download) is used. Intel XTU from v4.2.0.8 and up (http://hwbot.org/article/general_rules)

Maybe I have expressed myself incorrectly before. All Core i3 and Pentium/Celeron counterparts are allowed. The stage is for the low-end stuff, which is now i3 + Pentium + Celeron. No legacy Pentium like S478 or Pentium D.

Hi Henk, Thanks for the feedback. The bug is already in our backlog: http://bugs.hwbot.org/browse/HWBOT-1257. Currently we are very constraint in terms of coding-time, so a solution might not be for within the next 24h.

Don't delete the folder then, just provide the XTU and GUI log. That's fine too .

Hehe, yes that was by design. It's @hwbot.org and my name is Pieter. You can delete the entire folder, then re-create the bug and then provide just the GUI and XTU logs.

That is an error I have not seen yet, interesting. Could you send me a screenshot of the error, as well as the two log files? To get the log files: - folder: C:\ProgramData\Intel\Intel Extreme Tuning Utility - delete all - open XTU, when you get the error zip the folder and mail it to me Mail: pieter@hwb...
