  5. I'll upload the latest bioses today - have about 50 of them
  6. Confirmed, it's a private competition so no points for the rankings.
  7. A verification link to the score on 3DMark.com. You can validate from the benchmark application and get a verification link to the score. Let me know if you need to assistance!
  8. Awesome news! If true, then the 980 TI situation will be a great improvement over the 780 MOA edition cards! Thanks for the clarification, Pepi. Much appreciated.
  9. Bait and switch is the problem, yeah. The same applies to Epower stuff. An Epowered Titan X is, by itself, a magnificent artwork of engineering and everyone who's about to pull something off like this is a hero in my eyes. But ... it's no longer a Titan X. It's a Nvidia GM200 with custom PCB. Just like a KPE/HOF/Strix/Lightning/... with Epower is no longer that card (and shouldn't be advertised as such?).
  10. Sorry Wiz, didn't really want to pick out your score to talk about this. No offense to you, your result is awesome and thanks for sharing!! I agree with your and Ronaldo's observations. I think it's in line with what HiVizMan outlined in this thread at MLG too: http://www.midlifegamers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2226 Overclockers show what some hardware is capable of, regardless if it's retail available. Overclockers show what can be done and share details on how it's achieved. How this is translated to the general audience and market is done by other people.
  11. Link? Sad to see this happening and even more sad (if true) that our website is being part of this kind of deceit //edit: no offense to the overclockers who achieve the scores. The results are awesome and they're just playing with the cards they get. The overclockers don't have a say in the retail/engineering design.
  12. I'm pretty sure they know where to put Samsung and where to put Hynix
  13. Cool :celebration: So it comes down to this. Just like with the Old School is Best School competition, we need to come up with: - a name - the competition rounds (name, start/end date, vga choice) - stages (benchmark, points, ...) To get the discussion going, maybe we can think of some cards that might be interesting? Should we go for a specific product, or leave it open to all brands and tie it down to the GPU)
  14. Just a quick and simple question: the Old School is Best School competition is running pretty well, so I'm wondering if we can do the same but for low-end graphics cards. Basically a "cheapazchips" competition series, with a new card/challenge every month. Is there someone who's willing to spare a bit of time to work out the details (like card, benches, etc)? Just drop a message below
