congrats to all in the comp, well done guys, especially to stelaras, top runs man, and thx to the bot boys as well for running it, W9's Mr Paco for instigating the set up for the comp to start with i tried 2 x 7900 gtx gpus in the venus but wouldnt see 1 card for some reason, tried everything, put the card in another board and no probs and away it went, but didnt like my board tho so ran with 1 card

ive done it with a "soft bristle" tooth brush, not medium or hard, and with methylated spirits then blow it out with compressed air, and with intel as you know the pins sections face different ways, you dont go brushing the pins backwards when they face forwards, thats just looking for disaster no matter if you use a soft anything, we all know how easy it is for an intel pin to catch , next minute you got a bent pin or pins, a can of that tin stuff i reckon would cost $15-20, metho costs $5 a litre here in coles supermarket, it still dilutes the paste, the beauty of metho is it dries out and helps dissipate any moisture,(remember water in your fuel tank ? and you'd use metho to dissipate the water) doesnt hurt the board or electricals, doesnt melt anything, just a little slower to dilute the paste and or vaseline, ive poured metho all over my boards and no probs, nail polish remover works too, thats acetone, knock off your wifes or girls nail polish remover and comes with a soft brush, hahaha

the answer is this ...its quite simple for all , unless you have a reading disability, or maybe something more drastic... either get into it or dont bother complaining with bullshit no one is twisting your arms to be involved in it......so if youre not going to be a player in it , why not leave it to those that are without the continual habitual bloody whinge about what is and what isnt... the scene has been set for the comp by BOT, like it or lump it, compete or dont, if you dont, no one will care anyway. i thought dogpile was pretty much catered for all, apart from the hardware decided not to be allowed which there is disallowed hardware in all catergories (eg ES etc), as quick as you could change the cpu . gpu, drivers, motherboard, OS's etc you had a sub to sub and considering the amount of subs that were subbed i think we had 1 server stuff up where it had a heart attack, but only for a short time then it was fixed, i think bot did a good job of it and look forward to it being a part of the team cup again next year, maybe with a few improvements that im sure are being thought about already, but all in all i think it went well and thanks to all the bot boys concerned, im sure it made quite a few that got their cards out think, mmmmmmmmm ive still got this card, i thought id killed it long ago lol
